WHAT IS CHILDREN INTERNATIONAL?

Children International is a non-profit, humanitarian organization, formerly known as Holy land Christian Mission Academy, founded in 1936. This organization helps to decrease poverty on children. The sponsorship solution is designed to help provide educational, material, and emotional aid to impoverished children around the world. These services are provided in order to give the children the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty and realize their full potential.

Vision: Our vision is that every child graduates from our program as a healthy, educated, self-reliant adult with the ability and drive to break free from poverty while improving their own communities.

Mission: Our mission is to bring real and lasting change to children living in poverty. In partnership with contributors, we reduce their daily struggles, invest in their potential, and provide them with the opportunity to grow up healthy, educated and prepared to succeed and contribute to society.

Goal: Our goal is to truly affect the lives of impoverished children, their families and communities through our programs to relieve the burdens these people face and improve their quality of life.

IN RELATION TO PYD…. This is an excellent website. Not only is it attractive and

informative, but it really allows viewers to get to know and understand the organization and its purpose. Though this site is geared towards getting recognition, donors, and sponsorship this could be very useful for Youth Developers as well. Not only does this website raise awareness of poverty stricken youth, but it allows for Youth Developers to be more aware, diverse, and knowledgeable of the conditions of underprivileged youth. In turn, these things only make better Youth Developers because they are able to know and understand the backgrounds and conditions of many different youth, not just Youth in certain places.

I would definitely recommend this website to anyone trying to learn more about underprivileged youth in other countries. Not only were there statistics and facts to back up the information, but it was enjoyable to read.
