About the Founder

Founded in 1980 as Manipal Institute of Management

By late Shri Tonse Ananth Pai (1922 1981), an eminentbanker and visionary Padmashree & Padma Bhushan

Former Chairman of Syndicate Bank, Life InsuranceCorporation of India and Food Corporation of India

Former Union Minister for Indian Railways, Heavy Industries,Steel & Mines and Industry & Civil Supplies
