• Integrated coordination among various stakeholders by GoZ/ ZUMC within 6months.

• Enforcement of law and regulations pertain to solid waste management (GOZ; 6 months).

• Medium-term:

• Persistently Community meeting on best practice and knowledge sharing of recycling and collection of household wastes (GOZ; 6-12months).

• Long-term:

Explore new efficient & emerging technology (LT; 2-5 years)

Barriers & Challenges to Implementation

Coordinate and synchronize the various actors engaging in community sensitization/ education related to behavior change campaign in solid wastes practice bylaws , regulations ,willingness to pay for service etc

To develop policy and indicative action plan for integrated SWM;

To engage private sector on planning, management and coordination of SWM.

exchange and capacity building (peer-to-peer TDD study tours). Engage Expert from TDLC for (i) SWM capacity building

(training/ workshop); and (ii) Best practice in Operation and Management Plans (OMPs) for ZUMC and GOZ staffs.

Exchange of experience on private sector involvement from different level.
