Issue #1 Welcoming

After two years of being a member and serving as a leader of Korean American
Christian Fellowship (KCF), I was given the opportunity by God to serve as president. At
every WNP, every large group, and every event, I look out and see people gathered together
for different reasons but all drawn to one place, and I see God at the center of it all. I see
people who are broken but desire healing, people who are new in their faith and have a
genuine heart to learn more, people who are stagnant but want to break out of their routines
in order to grow, and I see people who are strong in their faith but want to go even deeper.
Although we are all different, the fact that God draws us to the same place makes me not
only extremely happy, but also leads me to praise God. In the midst of all our failures and
sin, His Love shines through and is manifested into our gatherings, our prayer meetings, our
large groups, and our fellowship.
Our vision is to raise disciples and disciple makers of Christ. I now know that God’s
timing is perfect and He is taking us on a journey to a place we could never imagine. He has
a plan for KCF, and He is going to use us for something so amazing that when it comes, we
would immediately praise Him in awe of His Glory. God is moving and I have never felt or
seen His presence and power so much in my life. We need to be ready to go wherever and
whenever God takes us. We will raise disciples and disciple makers and then they will do
the same, continuing on this cycle for as long as life on earth exists.
I want to ask all of you to be a part of God’s plan. Whether you already know God
or want to know him more, wherever you are in your life and faith, God is moving and I
really hope you all open your hearts and let Him take you where He wants you to go. I can’t
say exactly what He’s going to do or when He’s going to do it, but I know for a fact that He
wants to start a relationship with each and every one of you and when you encounter Him,
there’s no way your life won’t be changed. It’s going to be a long journey and difficult in
getting to know Him but He will embrace you with Love and Grace and it will be worth it in
the end. I really hope all of you will come to love God more and more each and every day!
