At the moment we do not have a “Supplies” person but Ron Trapani says that this business

can fill our needs as to SIR items such as shirts and jackets with many colors and styles.

The business has our logo on hand so embroidery is no problem.

Mike Mastrocovo, 3175 Pine Valley Dr. Fairfield, Ca 94534. OR you can pay at the next meetings prior to October 18th.

“Mikey’s Corner”

Mikey Mastrocovo has offered to take photos from time to time of members attending various SIR functions and the

pictures will be shown in the current SIR bulletin.

He might be taking photos out at the golf course, at the Luncheon, and certainly at the yearly Picnic and the Christmas Party.

So if you see Mikey with a camera…… smile !! Some photos by Bob Du Sell

Dear All Branch 106 Members,

Your Branch Executive Committee (BEC) is sending this message as an effort to keep you informed and aware of issues effecting the overall health and status of our branch. One issue that is directly impacting our financial health is the accurate forecasting of the lunches we order from Marriott's for our monthly meetings. If we order more meals than members show up and pay for, our branch is obligated to pay for the difference.

As an example; our February meeting was forecasted for 82 meals. Only 72 members and 2 new members attended the meeting. Our branch paid for 8 extra meals. That was $192 directly out of the branch budget.

It is therefore important that we all help to improve the accuracy of the number of meals ordered. We can only do this if everyone makes an effort to notify us when you're unable to attend a meeting. Conversely, if you don't notify us and don't attend please pay our treasurer for meal you missed at the next branch meeting.

You will find attached to this message a summary of this discussion. There are also included, all of the ways to send your meeting status notifications; via telephone, email or online message form.

As always, any and all ideas, feedback and constructive criticism are more than welcome.

Thank you in advance for your help with this issue.

Yours in fellowship,

Rich Forgie SIRS 106 Membership Chairman 707-999-7944 [email protected] www.sir106.org
