UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT

A. In all situations of unsportsmanlike conduct committed by the school’s coaches, bench personnel, and/or players, sanctions should be issued against the individual(s) as opposed to the entire team, if at all possible.

B. It shall be the responsibility of the offending school to investigate and report to the League Office all individuals involved in unsportsmanlike conduct that cannot detected by video, game officials’ report(s), or witness statements.

C. In absence of information (videotape, witness statements) being provided by the school, the League may sanction the school.

D. The League may address the reported individuals of the unsportsmanlike act individually or collectively.

UNSPORSTMANLIKE CONDUCT

E. Any action(s) that warrants a coach(es) ejection will subject the coach(es) to a minimum next game suspension and the school to a minimum fine of $300.

F. The League shall use information obtained through video, game officials reports, law enforcement reports, witness statements, etc., and the offending schools report to determine action(s) to be taken to address the unsportsmanlike conduct.

UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT G. Repeated unsportsmanlike behavior by teams

involving multiple student athletes during the

same sport season may subject the school’s program/team to more severe penalties, to include possible probation and/or suspension.

H. Ejections that subject a player to a next game suspension will result in a minimum of suspension of one (1) game. (i.e. flagrant fouls, malicious contact, spiting, biting, fighting, disrespectfully addressing officials, profanity)

Multiple-day Competitions

All wrestlers weighing in must meet the grooming standard, which requires the hair to meet certain length and abrasive standards. All competitors must meet this standard or wear an appropriate cover. This cover must be worn to the weigh-in for the referee’s approval and then removed prior to stepping on the scale.

Second Injury Time-Out Rule 8-2-1h EXCEPTIONS

If the second injury time-out is taken at the conclusion of the first 30-second tiebreaker period and the opponent already has the choice at the beginning of the second 30-second tiebreaker period, the opponent would then have the added choice at the first restart after the beginning of the second 30-second tiebreaker period.
