REMOTE LEARNING PARENT PACK (offline) Dear Stage 2 Parents/Families and Students, Due to Department of Education decision to implement remote learning, we have developed a parent pack to help you assist your child learning from home. We will be communicating with you via Class Dojo AND/OR SeeSaw. Any questions, queries and support can be communicated through either of these platforms. Communication is set between 8:30am – 3:30pm. Access to online learning will be through our Tahmoor Public School website. Students can choose to complete activities in either format: 1. Offline – Please purchase an exercise book that is A4 minimum 64pages 2. A scrap book for art would be preferred but not necessary. 2. Online – saved Word Documents OR saved Notes (iPad) For access to codes/usernames/passwords for suggested online websites on the remote learning timetable, students will receive these from their teachers either through ClassDojo/SeeSaw. It is recommended that students are either remote learning online or using their Learn From Home booklets. If students are using Learn From Home booklets, they are expected to share their completed tasks with their class teacher on Class Dojo/SeeSaw. We have also included in this pack some helpful parent tips/resources which you can also access through the Department of Education website. We are encouraging students maintain regular home routines such as READING DAILY. Most importantly, look after your loved ones, be kind and take care of each other - that is what is most
