The second day of the sports

competition was threatened by

a weather disturbance code-

named Pablo, a supertyphoon.

All activities were suspended.

There was fear for an

extension of one day to cover

up the lost time.

Pablo was very strong. It

carried winds of 170 miles per

hour and it was easy for him

to topple down trees and

banana trees to the ground. It

was of course very easy to

send the pile of kitchen wares

flying, and scare the kitchen

hands to their quarters.

The second day was a mess of

leaves and broken trees

including all the Christmas

the entire school a festive
