The structure of the tactile system

The tactile system is located in the right center-most part of the brain. This connects to the medulla which is connected to the spinal cord and all the nerves.

Function of the tactile systemThe function of the tactile system is to let the body touch, feel pressure, pain, temperature, position, movement, and vibration, which comes from the muscles, joints, skin, and fascia( tissue surrounding the muscles, blood vessels, and nerves.)

Autism• Autism is a disease that can be affected by the

tactile system, In cases like touch. Kids with autism tend to be hypersensitive . Some autistic people are sensitive to touch, even light touch, they can also be sensitive to certain fabrics.

• Occupational therapy is used to help them be more productive and improve their association with people and their surroundings (environment).

OVERVIEW

The tactile system has to do with touch, pressure, pain, temperature, position, movement, and vibration, which come from the muscles, joints, skin, and fascia. Fascia being the a large layer of nerve fibers running throughout the body, under the skin.
