Rapid Mixer Granulator (RMG)
The Rapid Mixer Granulator is a
multi-purpose processor equally
suitable for high speed dispersion
of dry powders, aqueous or
solvent granulations and mixing
purposes.
Working principle:
Mixing and Wet Granulation

The fast moving mixer blades
enforce the powder material in to
spiral fluidization at the bowl base.

This vortex effect in the material provides faster and
uniform (even) distribution of the ingredients.
This intensive mixing action distributes "active"
substances homogeneously within few minutes
By adding binder through charging hole at the top cover,
particles are uniformly moistened and aggregated to
large granules.
The vertically rotating, specially designed chopper
blades shears the circulating powder and breaks down
lumps and aggregates.
Thus granules attain higher density and uniformity in
shape, thereby achieving a uniform particle size
distribution.

Fluidized bed dryer
The fluid bed principle is used to advantage in heating, cooling, carrying out chemical reactions, homogenising, and drying, but the success of these applications can only be realised when the solid sample is thoroughly mixed during the process.
Working principle:
Wet granules are placed at the detachable bowl and ispushed into the dryer
Fresh air passed through the pre filter and the gas areheated while passing through the heat exchanger
Hot air flows through the bottom of the bowl
Air velocity is gradually increased
Granules rise from the container then fall back,thiscondition is called fluidised state

Coating machine
Tablet coating is the
application of coating
composition to moving
bed of tablets with
concurrent use of heated
air to facilitate
evaporation of solvent.
Substances used for
coating are usually
applied as solution or
suspension under
conditions where vehicle
evaporates
Tablets are loaded into the machine at the beginning of
each batch.
They tumble on a rotating drum while a coating liquid
(solution, dispersion, or melt) sprays through nozzles
onto their surface.
Meanwhile, fans direct heated air through the tablets
and the perforated drum.
This air either evaporates the solvent or cools the melt.
The integrated plenum pans operate effectively at lower
airflows, which make them better suited for solvent
coating applications.
This process continues until the tablets are sufficiently
