The HNBA is the largest national association of Latino legalprofessionals – attorneys, judges, law professors, paralegals,law students, legal assistants and other related professionals – inthe United States and its territories.
The HNBA is a nationwide provider of continuing legaleducation (CLE), providing attorneys and judges with the CLEcredits required by U.S. jurisdictions to maintain their law licenses.
The HNBA Board of Governors is comprised of 72 members –13 Executive Committee members, 19 Regional Presidents, theleaders of 5 key HNBA Divisions (Latina Commission, CorporateCounsel Division, LGBT Division, Young Lawyers Division & LawStudents Division), and the representatives of 35 Affiliateorganizations across the United States and its territories, Canada,and most recently, France.
The HNBA National Office is in Washington D.C. The nationaloffice is led by the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Directorand collectively, with the National Team, they work to assist theNational President, the Executive Committee and the Board ofGovernors to plan and carry out the Association’s vital work andmission across the nation.
The HNBA has substantive divisions, law sections,committees, and task forces, increasing its outreach andinfluence across groups and industries.
