RL metal measuring rodsMeasurement of greater distances with measuring magnifiers is pos-sible only to a limited extent due to the length of the rods. RL metal measuring rods are the optimum supplement for quick and simple determination of lengths and dis-tances.

The four lengths of 100 mm, 212 mm, 300 mm and 400 mm are supplied with one or two reading magnifiers (crack magnifier RL-10-x without scale) in a transport box. The reading magnifiers are moved

along a guiding rail which is mounted on the measuring rod. When measuring lengths and distances ensure that the measuring rod is parallel to the object to be measured, to prevent measuring errors. The RL steel measuring rods, which are manufactured with an accuracy of± 0.02 mm, do not contain a test report in the scope of delivery.

The four standard lengths of the metal measuring rods are supplied with one or two 10-x reading mag-nifiers as desired. In addition both versions can be supplied as separate models with an LED light.

Please note that when using two magnifiers the minimum reading distance from magnifier centre to magnifier centre is approx. 32 mm.

Upon request the metal measuring rods can be supplied for an extra charge with a factory calibration certificate (300 and 400 mm) or DAkkS (100 and 212 mm). This in-creases the delivery time by approx. two weeks.

For installation purposes, we offer the four metal meas-uring rods under order number RL-OA as pure measuring rods without magnifiers or other attachments.

We are also happy to offer custom-made items up to a total length of 400 mm. On our website you will find a PDF drawing to download, as well as a DXF file of standard lengths. You can use this as a template to send us a drawing or a DXF. We would prefer a DXF in order to avoid any misunderstandings. In addi-tion this reduces the quotation time and the costs of the custom-made item, since in any case we have to create a DXF.
