What Is Animal Meal?Animal Meal is a novel, premium quality "meal replacement" or meal substitute utilizing a unique blend of whole food-based ingredients to achieve a super-efficient and highly digestible source of balanced nutrition. It has been formulated for elite athletes who require nutrient-dense, yet easily digested calories.

Who is Animal Meal For?While Animal Meal was designed for elite athletes like me... because of its ingredient list and profile, it can be used by anyone seeking healthful, balanced, easy-to digest-nutrition. It places a premium on quality and nutritional value, and digestibility above all else.

Why Should I Use Animal Meal?Animal Meal delivers where I believe other meal replacements fall short. It makes use of a variety of proteins, carbohydrates and fats, each hand-picked by me for their easily digested nature and potential to provide nutrition at both immediate and sustained rates. These are all ingredients I've experimented with and used over the years with great success.

First and foremost, Animal Meal uses quality sources of proteins, carbohydrates and fats. Other "conventional" meal replacement products are notorious for using harder to digest or allergenic proteins, cheap carbohydrates and low quality fats in their formulas.

Second, Animal Meal is a balanced source of nutrition deriving a significant amount of calories from each macronutrient. Other meal replacements are predictable and almost always feature a disproportionate amount of proteins, carbohydrate and fats leaving you with products that are not only lacking in calories but insufficient in overall nutrition; we don’t consider these products worthy of replacing a meal.

Last but not least, convincing looking nutrition facts that look good on a label are worth next to nothing unless you can fully digest what you’re consuming. Animal Meal is simple in nature and naturally easy for the human body to absorb. When

working with Animal's R&D team, we kept the formula free of extra ingredients like fillers, gums, fibers and thickening agents that can cause digestive issues. Further, our formula is free of milk, lactose, and is naturally flavored and sweetened.

When Would I Use Animal Meal? Both Animal and I are firm believers in the superiority of whole, fresh foods. As a pro athlete, I have time to dedicate to each and every meal. That said, on occasion, I do still find myself in situations where taking 30 minutes to sit down and eat is not feasible. In these instances, simply missing out on needed nutrition is not an option. Further, it may not always be possible for you to set aside time to prepare and/or consume a whole food meal. Part of the beauty of Animal Meal is that you can consume it anytime, throughout the day—and without guilt. I believe it's that good.

What Are The Key Ingredients in Animal Meal?ProteinsBeef Protein Isolate: Anyone who knows anything about nutrition is well aware of the muscle building potential of red meat. Beef protein isolate boasts an excellent amino acid profile, is one of the most concentrated protein sources available and is well-digested. Without lactose or dairy proteins, beef isolate provides excellent muscle building nutrition without the potential digestive issues of dairy proteins.

Pea Protein Isolate: One of the few hypoallergenic proteins available, features a solid amino acid profile while being very gentle on the digestive system.

Whole Egg Protein: Some believe that the nutritional potential of the egg is greatest when both the white and the yolk are consumed together; we happen to share this belief. Not only is whole egg protein a rich source of highly bioavailable protein, but also a tremendous source of valuable fatty acids, choline and cholesterol. Whole egg protein is a nutritional powerhouse! We simply had to include it in our formula. The whole egg has reliably served the athlete and continues to do so.

CarbohydratesOats: A staple in the diets of athletes, oats just might be a perfect carbohydrate source. Oats, a slower digesting carb source, are capable of providing us with sustained energy with a very low potential for digestive distress.

Pea Starch: While there are not many carbohydrate sources that can be easily digested without negatively affecting blood sugar, pea starch is one of the few. Pea starch is also capable of delivering sustained energy without gastrointestinal stress. For these reasons, it was included in our formulation.

Sweet Potato Powder: Even more easily digested than oats, sweet potatoes are used in this formula as a means of providing both fast and sustained energy.

Dextrose: This is rapidly metabolized into blood glucose. I've included it as a fast and efficient source for fueling the body and replenishing glycogen stores without taxing the digestive system. Unlike the vast majority of commercially

available dextrose that's made from corn, I hand selected the dextrose in Animal Meal from superior tapioca.

FatsOlive Oil: In my humble opinion, olive oil is quite possibly the perfect fat. It is easily digested, high in monounsaturated fats, and has been shown to bolster the human body's metabolism. Olive oil is also capable of providing sustained energy and is a high quality source of calories.

FlavoringsAt first, the relatively bland flavor of Animal Meal may surprise you. Rest assured, this was by design. Animal Meal is a product I use personally every day. From the beginning, I told Animal that the flavor would have to be subtle and not overpowering. If you are going to drink something every day–even several times a day–you want to make sure the flavor isn't over the top or too sweet.

That's why Animal Meal makes use of natural cocoa powder, stevia and monk fruit extract to create an excellent but more neutral tasting meal without the use of artificial ingredients and that chemical-like aftertaste. I believe the result is a rich, natural flavor that is not overwhelming in any way. It took Animal many, many prototypes to nail the flavor and get it to my liking–but in the final product, Animal hit it out of the park.

Page 8: TABLE OF CONTENTS - Animalpakthe muscle building potential of red meat. Beef protein isolate boasts an excellent amino acid profile, is one of the most concentrated protein sources

What is NOT In Animal Meal?Perhaps more important than what's in Animal Meal is what's not in the product. For starters, anything artificial—no artificial flavors, sweeteners, colors or preservatives.

Animal Meal does not contain fibers, gums, or thickeners. Some people like thick shakes. From a nutritional point of view though, if maximum efficient digestion is the key, then you wouldn't want extraneous ingredients impeding that digestion. Not only do these items take up extra room in your stomach, they can often cause gas, bloating and other forms of gastric distress. All of these things are highly undesirable.

Meal FAQs:1. Who would benefit from taking Animal Meal? Anyone looking for a balanced, extremely easy to digest, and high-quality source of macronutrients can benefit from the regular use of Animal Meal. You don’t have to be an elite athlete or bodybuilder to benefit from Animal Meal use either. 2. How often should I drink this? Because Animal Meal was specifically designed to be food-based and all-natural, there is really no limit as to how often you can use it. That said, we know that whole, solid food should always serve as the basic foundation for our daily diets. That’s why you should use Animal Meal when you might not have time for or access to a freshly prepared, healthy and balanced meal. 3. How is Animal Meal different from other conventional meal replacements? Animal Meal ticks all the boxes whereas other MRPs leave the job half done. Animal Meal is supremely digestible, assimilates efficiently, contains only the highest quality ingredients, has balanced macronutrients, is all-natural and great tasting. 4. I'm allergic to milk—does Animal Meal contain any dairy? Animal Meal is 100% free of dairy and lactose. Animal Meal was purposefully designed to omit dairy completely. 5. If there is no dairy, what type of protein is in this product? Animal Meal was formulated using an optimal blend of beef isolate, whole egg, egg white, and pea proteins to create a nutritional advantageous amino acid profile. 6. Why are the fats so high compared to other meal replacements? A balanced meal is our approach, one that is rich in protein, carbohydrates AND quality fats. The nutrient profile of other meal replacements continues to mirror an outdated nutritional approach.

7. What time of day should I drink this? You can pretty much use this product any time, whenever you need a surge of high quality calories that is efficiently digested. We designed Animal Meal to be flexible. I personally consume an Animal Meal shake every day, about 30 minutes prior to training. The close proximity to training combined with the easy digestion allows for sustained energy and (although I can't explain why) very full feeling muscles. And I can still eat again immediately following training.

Page 12: TABLE OF CONTENTS - Animalpakthe muscle building potential of red meat. Beef protein isolate boasts an excellent amino acid profile, is one of the most concentrated protein sources

8. Can Animal Meal also be used for bulking as a weight gainer? Think of Animal Meal in the same way you think about food. If gaining weight is your goal, then the inclusion of more quality calories in your diet is vital. Animal Meal will undoubtedly serve that purpose. 9. What are the benefits of Animal Meal's natural formula? Keeping Animal Meal natural and without any artificial flavors, sweeteners, or colors has always been one of our top goals. Why? Because quality, natural whole foods do not contain any of these ingredients. We designed Animal Whey to be the closest thing to whole food—but with the added convenience of a delicious shake. Animal Meal contains the stuff your body wants. 10. Animal Meal contains dextrose—isn't that a cheap, bad carb? It’s true Animal Meal contains dextrose. However, dextrose is an ingredient that has been much maligned. First, dextrose is similar to blood glucose and can either serve as a quick and efficient means of replacing glycogen or as an immediate energy source. Second, the dextrose we use is a quality ingredient derived specifically from tapioca and not corn or wheat. Tapioca comes from the natural cassava root native to South America and is rich in vitamins and minerals. Tapioca dextrose is produced from natural tapioca starch using enzymes.

How Was Animal Meal Created? When coming up with the idea for the newest Animal product, my guiding principle was very simple. The best bodybuilding foods served as the inspiration for and the foundation of the Animal Meal formula. Beef and eggs have long been held in high regard as near perfect bodybuilding foods; to utilize them in our formula was a no-brainer.

We don’t scoff at the power of veggies either and the protein found in peas has been proven itself to be a valuable muscle building tool. We couldn’t have a solid meal replacement product without high quality, energy sustaining carbohydrates and we couldn’t think of more perfect ingredients for the job than oats, sweet potatoes and pea starch.

However, we also recognized the need for immediate carbohydrate replenishment. We chose dextrose because it is chemically identical to blood glucose, which makes it an ideal source for rapid glucose replenishment. No meal would be

complete without adquate fats. Again, we went right for the best sources. Olive oil and egg yolks are clean burning and great for fat loss and muscle gain.

Finally, we chose to sweeten and flavor Animal Meal solely through natural means. It didn’t seem right to do it any other way, and we are pleased to be able to do so without sacrificing taste.

Why Did I Ask Animal To Create Animal Meal?Animal Meal was developed out of necessity. The market is comprised primarily of two different types of meal replacement products: dairy based formulas and vegan formulas, both varying in overall quality. Although dairy (milk and whey) based formulas have been around for years and while there is absolutely no doubt that whey is a high quality protein with excellent muscle building properties, there is a large segment of people who do not digest it well.

At the other end of the spectrum are vegan formulas. While these formulas do certainly fit the ideological mandates of certain consumers, they are arguably not the most complete from a nutritional perspective. Oftentimes, these formulas are also loaded with extra fiber in an attempt to make a “healthier” product. Unfortunately, the result is oftentimes bloating, gas and other side effects of poor digestion. Further, whether vegan or dairy based, many formulas are riddled with extraneous ingredients either in an attempt to create an attractive label or to simply take up space in the product that SHOULD be filled with meaningful ingredients.

Ultimately, there was not a nutritionally balanced product featuring high quality ingredients that is also incredibly well digested that doesn’t compromise muscle building potential. Add great taste and no artificial ingredients of any kind to that list and there is simply no other product that can tick all the boxes like Animal Meal.

With digestibility, a superior macronutrient profile and uncompromising muscle building potential serving as the driving force behind Animal Meal, there is now a product that can be easily inserted into the regimen of anyone seeking to add high quality calories to their diet WITHOUT gastrointestinal distress.

Anyone who has been a part of this game long enough knows that it is very much a matter of volume. Increasing size and strength is simply a matter of maximizing the duration and intensity of one’s training through adequate

Page 14: TABLE OF CONTENTS - Animalpakthe muscle building potential of red meat. Beef protein isolate boasts an excellent amino acid profile, is one of the most concentrated protein sources

recovery. Recovery is almost always the limiting factor and nutrition is a key component of that recovery.

To that end, at a certain point, most serious trainers often hit a wall simply because they are unable to consume enough food! At that point, the efficiency of one’s diet is vital and maximizing digestion becomes a key factor. Food or shakes that take hours and hours to digest, leaving you full when it’s time to put down your next meal simply won’t do. With Animal Meal, you get the maximum amount of nutrition in a very short time leaving you ready and able to continue fulfilling your nutritional requirements.

Praise“First things first, I immediately noticed how easily Animal Meal mixed. I mixed it in a regular cup with a lid without a blender ball intentionally. Not a single clump of any buildup on the lid. Next thing I noticed was the taste and the texture. The taste is good, especially for a meal replacement type supplement. I'm funny about textures, and it's kind of gritty but I expected it. In no way a deal breaker. Digestibility…all is good and working as it should. No bloat, no upset stomach. I would absolutely…recommend this product. I work long hours away from home, it's not always easy to get full meals in. I used it post workout…[and it was] super easy to get down.”– Robert Humm “Former military, currently work in higher education with veterans. I stay consistently busy throughout the day and this product was great to test and see how it helps me stay consistent with my meals/calorie intake. I meal prep and bring my meals to work, but life happens and I only take lunch when not serving my university students so sometimes a shake like this is very quick and reliable. I drained the product before attending an event on campus and had no issues. I remember being at the event and feeling full and not feeling the need to eat or get something small in my system. I typically eat every 2.5 hrs. (that’s how I schedule it) and this shake kept me full the entire window. I was very impressed with the mixing process, as I used the recommended water serving and it mixed great! No clumps, no dry powder at the bottom of the shaker, it was smooth. I was very impressed.” – Bradley Ward

“Anyone who works shift work/on-call work can attest to the need for convenience at times, and a product like Animal Meal definitely comes in handy for just that. I used 10 oz of cold water in a shaker cup and it mixes perfectly, without clumping. Didn't need to spend 5 minutes trying to turn my shaker cup into a magic bullet, either; a few vigorous shakes, and I was good to go. Definitely a plus, considering how much powder, and in comparison to how some powders tend to chunk up with a lack of water/liquid. I was surprised with the cocoa-based flavoring…it was delicious. Unique, but pleasantly unique. I've got a pretty strong stomach, but this caused no problems whatsoever. Went down easy, stayed down, and didn't cause any interruptions/additions to my daily bathroom breaks. All this being said, I would highly recommend it. I've always been a fan of making my own meal replacement shakes to keep around the shop at work, and those always have liquid egg whites in them, so it's nice to see an egg based protein meal replacement like this. I was very excited when I saw the ingredient list, and I was very pleased with how this product turned out." – John Eger

“It was easy to tell that Animal Meal is a VERY meticulously thought out meal replacement powder. I had no bloating, distension, or digestion issues with this whatsoever. I also noticed the sustained energy I got from the fibrous carbs. It definitely staved off my hunger for a good 3 or so hours, and worked right into my meals nicely. The mix-ability was one of the best features of this powder. Even with the three scoops in about 12-15 oz of water, it mixed almost perfectly. No too thick, no too thin. There were no clumps in my drink, and I even was using a blender bottle without the metal mixer inside. The taste of the drink was incredible. The drink it most closely resembled would have to be Nesquick. If you're like me (inhaled Nesquick powder as a kid), you're in for a treat. It had a true cocoa flavor that no chocolate protein powder sweetened with sucralose can replicate. Also with no artificial sweeteners this is definitely a product I would use day to day and not feel guilty about. I travel 2 days out of the week, and this will definitely be a staple for me as I can only meal prep so many meals for convenience sake. Two of my main sources of carbs are sweet potatoes and oats, so to get them so easily in this powder is ultra convenient. Two thumbs up!”– William Walker

“The flavor is not strong which is a plus for me. The texture is perfect it’s not too thick and it’s also not too watered down. Great product.” – Liam McConville

“The product tasted very natural, like a mild mocha and a high end plant based protein texture as far as consistency (slightly gritty but not overly so). Very pleasant and not overbearing in taste. Animal, you got a winner!” – Dylan Dobosz

“I thought the product had a nice balance of bitterness and sweetness. The sweetness wasn't overpowering to the point where it made my mouth taste gross like other products I've tried in the past. Once again, good digestibility and it's just what the doctor ordered post workout.” – Spencer Fiumara

“I have been lifting for sports and bodybuilding/powerlifting for over 10 years now. I am currently finishing up medical school training while married with a near-2-year old son. So between nearly 80 hours a week at the hospital and my family, time is at a premium, and as such I leave no stone unturned in seeking efficiency and results in my training, nutrition, and supplementation. Animal's idea for such a versatile meal replacement resonates greatly with me and my schedule, and I know after having tried it, that it will remain an invaluable, staple asset in my regimen for a long time going forward.

Evan's emphasis on digestion was clearly evident to me when using Animal Meal. I used it as a midday meal replacement while working nearly 20 straight hours, and so I had adequate time while working for its effects to be felt. I had no indigestion whatsoever. No full stomach or throat feeling, no bloat, no gas or other adverse digestive effects were felt. I can confidently say that as a powder, its digestion is superior to any I've used, and as a stand alone meal, its digestion was as clean and easy as any of the cleanest meals I've ever eaten.

It mixed more cleanly and simply, and with as little water per powder, than any top-shelf isolate powder I've tried in the past. The taste was excellent. I give it a 9 out of 10 overall, as good as any powder I've ever tried, with the ultimate 10-flavor position being held only by true chocolate milk. It certainly stands alongside the best natural chocolate tastes I've ever experienced. Not overly sweet, no bitter or hard to stomach aftertaste, and certainly a reward to drink worth looking forward to. I admit, when I read the ingredients list, I was hesitant to believe that a powder containing all those elements could taste very enjoyable at all, let alone as delicious as I found this to be. Taste is highly subjective, but I certainly feel Animal knocked this one out of the park.

15 MEAL PRAISE

Page 17: TABLE OF CONTENTS - Animalpakthe muscle building potential of red meat. Beef protein isolate boasts an excellent amino acid profile, is one of the most concentrated protein sources

Protein powders and weight gainers have stood as part of my supplement regimen at various points throughout my years lifting. This powder is of an entirely different realm in that it can functionally take the place of whole foods from a nutrition standpoint in ways that other protein and gainer products can't. We all recognize that there is no replacement for bellying up to the plate for real meals, but this is as close as it gets, and with its excellent nutrition profile, the convenience it offers, and the delicious taste, it can stand as a handy reprieve to eating another solid meal. This is the most important category for many of us, as it requires us to put our money where our mouth is when the time comes. I have shoveled in many meals less enjoyable and nutritionally sound than this shake during my years, and often spent too much of my money to do it. This answers a lot of questions for me and its versatility will make it a sure-fire addition to my diet.”– Taylor Allen

“I'm pretty consistent with my diet and training but obviously life happens and a product like this can definitely come in to play on those busy days where you can't fit in all your solid food meals. Mixability is great! Instructions are 3 scoops in 10-12 oz of water, which water wise doesn't seem like a lot when you see how much powder you're adding, but it mixed up great with just a spoon. No clumps, nothing stuck to the spoon or sides of the cup and no big settled lumps on the bottom, just nice and smooth. Animal Meal tastes almost like dark chocolate cacao bars, no bad after taste at all, and really easy to drink and enjoy. The texture is very smooth and you’re not cleaning clumps off your teeth because it dissolves perfectly in water when you mix it. It doesn't sit heavy at all but keeps you full. It goes down easy, no upset stomach or running to the bathroom. All the protein and carb sources included in the powder are commonly eaten in everyday diets and again shows the work Animal put in to the product with picking ingredients that are really easy to digest, but still pack a good nutritional value and can be versatile in any diet. When on the go or in a hurry, being able to throw 3 scoops of this in a shaker and slam back a meal anytime by just adding water makes life easy. Huge bonus for busy people! I will absolutely be keeping stocked up at my house.” – Mike Fitting

“The flavor was amazing and mixed so easy, no clumps for me. I used this as a post workout shake and I put a scoop of this in my oatmeal for breakfast along with some egg whites, fantastic product.” – Mike Matera

Page 18: TABLE OF CONTENTS - Animalpakthe muscle building potential of red meat. Beef protein isolate boasts an excellent amino acid profile, is one of the most concentrated protein sources

“It mixes great and only slightly gritty which again is not a big deal at all. Drinkability was superior to the majority of shakes I've tried. Digestion was second to none. No bloating, stomach pain, gas or any negatives there! That is something I struggle with and usually have to take some sort of digestive enzyme, but I didn't take one with it, and felt great!” – Tony Wright

“The first thing that stood out to me was how good it smelled when opened. The next thing was how easy it mixed. I took one serving (not one scoop) and made it in a mini shaker with cold water. It dissolved very easy and did not leave chunks behind, although I did use a blender ball. Moving forward from there, the taste was great. It tasted like a light chocolate graham cracker or almost like a s'more. All in all I loved it.” – Aaron Brown

“The balance of flavor to mixability is perfect. There is a desired grittiness to it that makes you feel like you made a protein shake from scratch in your own blender. It also isn’t overbearing with sweeteners or fillers like a lot of meal shakes are. And the fact that I had 2 and 1/2 big scoops in a shaker and it literally all mixed evenly is fantastic. I’m not usually big on meal replacement shakes for that reason, but after tasting this I’m most definitely reconsidering that ideal. Very well made and very true to the core of Animal.” – Brandon Roe

“Great product! The taste is great, and the texture is too. Digestibility for a meal replacement product here was excellent. Loved it!” – Mike Longo

“I have a pretty pathetic appetite and I tend to not digest a lot of powders very well. A lot of them leave me bloated, gassy and still feeling full when it's time for me to eat a solid meal again. I took Animal Meal at 2 different times. The first one was on a 90% empty stomach taken alone. The 2nd serving I took with my post workout meal (small meal). The results were pretty much identical. It is NOT a heavy drink. When taken on an empty stomach, I wasn't left bloated or gassy. I was actually hungry about an hour later. Which for me is perfect because I want the good calories then be able to eat a solid meal soon after without feeling like I'm force feeding myself. When taken alongside a small meal, it really didn't add much to how full I felt. It goes down easy and doesn't feel

thick or heavy in your gut. I mixed it in a cup with a spoon. SURPRISINGLY, it mixed incredibly well. I haven't tried too many powders that I am able to completely mix with a spoon. Normally you get big clumps when mixing this way. It had a very SLIGHT grainy texture. Not bad at all and it was very light and easy to drink. I bet with a shaker bottle it would mix even better. But for a MRP type powder, best mixability I've seen.

The taste actually got better the more I drank. I'm sure this isn't loaded with a bunch of sugar and crap sweeteners. But let's be real, if you're serious about having the best supplements and making the most of your workouts, flavor is one of the last things on your mind. I'd chug down powdered dog turd if I knew it was gonna get me jacked.

In conclusion, it was a light, easily digestible, very mixable meal powder that actually tastes good. I've never been a big fan of weight gainers or MRPs for various reasons but I'm sold on this stuff. I have a feeling this will be the benchmark for others to strive for in the MRP category.”– Cody Laurent

“No digestive issues whatsoever! I ingested the meal replacement as my 3rd meal of the day (currently have 6 meals) and it kept me satisfied until my next meal. Didn't go hypo, never got hungry before the next meal, and didn't sit in my stomach like a ton of bricks making me feel heavy or bloated/full. Basically, it just left me feeling completely satisfied, without having to eat a solid meal. Got to admit, it was a nice break. The closest thing I have to a meal replacement in my diet currently is a shake mixed with blended oats, whey iso, and some natural peanut butter, but for whatever the reason may be, it is not as satiating as this meal replacement was. Protein, carb and fat sources are all high quality... no cheaping out!”– Greg Marcolin

“Animal Meal is fantastic. It mixed better than I thought it would, and the flavor was great. I had zero issues with digestion as well, which was a big bonus.” – Brad Milligan

“Overall it is a great product.” – Axel Miazga
