MGS

MGS/5359 (MGS SLIPSTRIP R replaces MGT) Apparatus Wire (450C) (600 Volts) (UL VW-1 and CSA FT 1)

● Used for wiring of domestic and commercial ovens and similar high temp equipment with operating tempera-

tures up to 450C. Also used for electric heaters, blast furnaces, coke ovens, basic oxygen furnaces and cement

kilns. ● Flexible, stranded, 27% nickel-plated conductor (NPC) insulated with a spiral wrapped composite mica

tape jacketed with an overall fiberglass braid impregnated with a silicone saturator. Asbestos and halogen free. ●

MGS SLIPSTRIP R gives you the advantage of a smaller diameter due to the reduced wall yet still gives you the

same temperature and voltage of the MGT it replaces. ● MGS is superior to MGT in cutting and stripping.

SR

SR/3212/3213/3214 Braidless Fixture, Apparatus and Motor Lead (600 Volts) (150C)

● Used for leads to motors, transformers, appliance, electric or other electrical circuits where a flexible conductor

is required to operate under high temp conditions and where moisture may be present. ● Conductor is flexible

stranded. A silicone compound is applied over the conductor. ● Braidless silicone is more flexible than silicone

with a glass braid (SRML).

SRML

SRML/3071/3074/3075/3125/3231 Fiberglass Braided Fixture, Apparatus, and Motor Lead Wire (200C) (600

● Used for leads to motors, transformers, appliance, electric or other electrical circuits where a flexible conductor

is required to operate under high temp conditions and where moisture may be present. ● Conductor is flexible

stranded. ● A silicone compound is applied over the conductor and the wire is then covered with a saturated fray-

resistant fiberglass braid.

TGGS

TGGS/5256 (TGGS replaces TGGT) Apparatus Wire (250C) (600 Volts) (UL VW-1 and CSA FT 1)

● Used for wiring of domestic, commercial and industrial ovens, cooking, curing and drying equipment and simi-

lar high temp severe environments including electric heaters, blast furnaces and cement kilns. ● Flexible, stranded

nickel-plated copper (NPC) conductor insulated with a composite of polytelrafluoroethylene (PTFE) tape and fi-

berglass serve jacketed with an overall fiberglass braid saturated and cured with a silicone saturator. Asbestos

and halogen free. ● TGGS gives you the advantage of small diameter due to the reduced wall, yet still gives you

the same temperature and voltage of the TGGT it replaces. ● TGGS is superior to TGGT in cutting and stripping.

Flat Festoon

PVC Entertainment PVC (-40C to 105C) (600 Volts) (UL VW-1 and CSA FT 1) Five Conductor Flat Cables

(Black)

● Used with festoon systems for the conveyance of electrical power and control to cranes, hoists, or any

equipment which travels with a lateral traversing motion. ● Cables can also be used where space is at a

premium, can be stacked, or where extreme flexing is a requirement. ● Recommended bend radius of three

to five times cable diameter. ● Five conductor flat cables are widely used in convention halls and exhibit

centers as under carpet cables for distribution and booth lighting.

Shielded – PVC (-40C to 105C) (600 Volts) (UL VW-1 and CSA FT 1) Each Conductor has Tinned Copper

Braid Shield (Yellow)

● Bending radius is approx. four times the minor dimension (thickness). ● Jacket stripping is simplified by the use

of ripcords, which are found in all of our flat constructions. ● UL listed for -40C. ● Can be used for operation at

temps down to -55C. ● Passes the UL rating for the UV resistant test, making the cable suitable for outdoor use.

Shrinkable Tubing

Polyolefin

Flexible Polyolefin Polyolefin heat shrinkable tubing

Mil-I-23053/5 Class 1 and 2 (Clear) UL-224 125C VW-1 AMS 3636 3637(Clear) CSA

Rated for a continuous operating temperature from -55C (-67F) to 135C (275F) and withstands elevated tempera-

tures to 300C (572F) for short periods. Minimum shrink temperature is 121C (250F), temperatures in excess of

175C (347F) may tend to destroy the effectiveness of the tubing.

● Recovers to 50% of its original diameter when heated. ● Typical uses include splices, wire bundling, markers,

harnessing, stress relief, terminations ●Offers excellent chemical, corrosion, oil and heat resistance.

Very Flexible Polyolefin Polyolefin heat shrinkable tubing

Mil-I-23053/5 Class 3 UL-224 125C VW-l AMS 3636 CSA

● Used where highly flame-retardant, low shrink temperature insulation is required. ●The extra flexibility and low

shrink temperature (90C) makes it ideal for shrink fit jacketing and insulation of flexible wire bundles.

Services

Assemblies

If you need assembly work done to turn your wire into working parts, let ADI do it for you. We have the ability to

cut and strip wire to custom specifications, add terminals to the ends, solder dip, and create harness assemblies. We

have the ability to take your drawing and sample and turn it into a delivered, ready-to-use product for your needs.

Bonding

At ADI we have custom bonding machines that use a heat process to bind together PVC wires. These runs can be

done in any color and size combinations within approximately one inch in width. We can also run them in 500-foot

quantities or more. Our bonding process allows our wire to be split backward, leaving a full jacket of insulation in

tact. We use a thermal process on our machines; no overcoat process is used, keeping the original factory O.D..

Dyeing

At ADI we have the ability to change the color of PVC wire to meet your needs. If there is a special shade of color

you need to complete a specific project, ADI can color it for you. Through our dye process, we can widen the spec-

trum of colors available above and beyond that of factory wire. Also, if your company discontinues a certain color

of wire, and changing it to another color would allow it to still be used, let us dye it for you. We have a collection

of inks that can turn the color of one wire to another. Just tell us what color you have, and we can use our color

change hierarchy scale to give you options on how to recolor the wire.

Printing

ADI has the ability to print any letters on your wire for custom identification. If you want wires labeled with in-

structions, locations, or your company name, we can do it for you. Our ink jet printing machine can print in many

colors and sizes to meet your needs. We will also print in quantities of 500 ft. or more.

Striping

We have two types of striping machines at ADI: spiral and parallel. Our spiral striping machine can put between

one and three stripes per pass on the wire in a wide variety of colors. Our parallel striping machine can put one or

two linear stripes on wire also in a variety of colors. We will also stripe in quantities of 500 ft. or more. All striping

can be used to further distinguish wires for identification purposes.

Battery Cables

If you need Battery Cable assembly work done let ADI do it for you. We have the ability to cut and strip wire to

custom specifications, add terminals to the ends, solder dip, and create battery cable assemblies. We have the abil-

ity to turn it into a delivered, ready-to-use product for your needs. We use a press to ensure our battery cable ends

are crimped secure and ready for long-term use.
