Respondents years of service in the police profession and language/ dialect spoken are presented in Table 1 and Table 2, respectively.

It could be seen from table 1 that more than half (21 or 52.5 percent) of the respondents have been in service for 3 years and below; about (13 or 32.5 percent) of the respondents have been in service for 4 -7 years; and, only (4 or 10 % percent) of the respondents have been in service for 12 -15 years. The table also shows that 20-23 years and 24years and above has the same frequency and percentage with 1 or 2.5 percent; and, none of respondents have rendered 8-11 years nor 16-19 years of service.Table 2. When the respondents were asked to indicate their language spoken, the predominant responses indicated were local languages/dialects. Table 2 reveals that majority (17 or 42.5 percent) of the respondents reported that they can speak Tagalog; followed by English with 13 or 32. 5 percent; and only 4 or 10 percent of the respondents can speak Ilokano. On the other hand, the least spoken dialects are Pangasinense, Ibanag, Kalinga, Itawis, Bicol and Tausug with the same frequency of 1 respondent or 2.5 percent.
