STANISLAUS GROUNDWATER
• Media misperception of agricultural water use. • Linking the Cycle of water, Food and the Cycle of Life, balancing
agricultural, industrial and residential water needs for a more secure future.
• Sharing the water production burden by providing easy and efficient access to local groundwater supplies in a way that is sustainable and profitable.
• Accessing deep aquifers that are inaccessible to by conventional means making it impossible to access by most residential users.

MITIGATION INITIATIVES • Desalination A desalinization plant
closer to the ocean is a) a better way to get fresh water to SF than taking Sierra Nevada water away from farmers; and b) a better way to deal with global warming and rising sea levels, which currently threaten the environment.
• Dual Line Drip All of the big guys use this and the micro spray, and we can certainly advocate that all of the farmers adapt these water-saving technologies. Along the same line, advocating censors to determine when over-watering has occurred.
Desalination Dual Line Drip

NEXT STEPS FOR WATER INFRASTRUCTURE
• Continue to survey multiple opportunities in emerging desalination and water treatment technologies.
• Continue to evaluate investment and business opportunities with a water treatment solutions provider who has proven technology edge in business.
• The opportunity would enable us to create market potential and establish potential synergies with expertise in the water treatment industry.

municipal and industrial water and wastewater treatment products is over $175 billion annually and expected to grow rapidly.
• According to UN, industrial processes consume 60% of freshwater in high income countries. Also, industrial consumption of water is expected to grow by 5x between 2013 and 2050.
• The global market for new large-scale industrial water treatment products is currently about $53 billion per year and is expected to grow to be around 20% per year. *
• The total US industrial and municipal water market is estimated at $18 billion in 2013.
• The US is expected to be the top growth market in the world for desalination, water treatment, and wastewater treatment products.
• *$53B market comprised of $35B industrial water management, $8B industrial wastewater treatment, $6B industrial process water, $3B ultrapure water treatment.
