Attention: John White, [email protected] Dear Mr. White Studio City Residents Association representing 2,000 plus members support the motion offered on 1-29-19 by Council Members Blumenfield and Harris-Dawson that is presently before this committee. The Association strongly opposes any manner of mobile digital bill board advertising such as that being proposed to be placed on top of Uber and Lyft cars. Another concern is that it could spread to car owners not associated with Uber and Lyft.. If cars are allowed to drive around the city with digital mobile bill boards on top, they will present a danger and a distraction to other drivers and pedestrians. Additionally, such advertising would be adding to the visual environment already overburdened with advertising. Further, No neighborhood street or thoroughfare in Los Angeles would be safe from mobile miniature bills board rolling by throughout the day and continuing into the quiet hours. An unequivocal ban against such advertising is called for and the LAPD authorized to enforce the ban. https://mail.google.eom/mail/b/AFI1 rexS-LJ5IAolBNDNUqskRFIFI-Sf0k4e9itoOSYFI0rAt3gYmRs/u/0?ik=5c67953004&view=pt&search=all&permmsgid... 1/2

RE: Council File CF-190104

Motion: Council Members Blumenfield and Harris Dawson.

Attention: John White, [email protected]

Dear Mr. White

Studio City Residents Association representing 2,000 plus members support the motion offered on 1-29-19 by Council Members Blumenfield and Harris-Dawson that is presently before this committee.
