PUBLIC TRANSPORTSaas-Fee Local Bus ServiceThe local buses connect the vil-lage to the Saas-Fee ski region. You can get the timetables and routes from the Saas-Fee Tour-ist Information Centre. They are also displayed on the piste map.

SkibusGive your car a holiday too and take the ski bus to the Saas-Fee, Saas-Grund, Saas- Almagell and Saas-Balen ski regions. The journeys are free of charge with the Citizens' Pass.

Saas-Fee: Please deposit your rubbish bags, Paper, PET and glas bottles at the recycling centre at the entrance of the village.

Saas-Grund: Please deposit the rubbish bags at the road side every Thursday and Friday morning. Recy-cling containers are behind the post office.

Saas-Almagell: Please deposit the rubbish bags at the recycling container right at the bottom of the car park near the entrance to the village.

Saas-Balen: Please deposit the rubbish bags at the road side every Thursday and Friday morning. Recy-cling containers are at the school house.

SKI DEPOTSaas-FeeSeveral sports shops and hotels/ guest houses have ski depots very close to the Bergbahnen (cableways). Lockable ski stands are available at the Spielboden valley station. The Alpin Express has public ski lockers available for hire.

Saas-GrundAt Kreuzboden you can find ski lockers for individuals and groups. You can obtain the keys from the Bergbahnkasse in Saas-Grund. Reservation required!

PostBusSave yourself the search for a parking place and easily and conve-niently discover the Free Republic of Holidays Saas-Fee with the Post-Bus: it’s free of charge with the Citizens’ Pass. Timetables for the pub-lic routes are available in all Tourist Information Centres and all post offices.

Please note: All guests who use a parking space for camper vans in Saas-Fee must register at the Saas-Fee Tourist Information Centre after arrival to pay the tourist tax.

Britanniahütte, Saas-Fee(3,030 m above sea level)Erected in 1912 by British members of the Swiss club of the alps (Schweizer Al-pen-Club SAC), it is one of the most visited SAC huts in the Alps and serves as a starting point for the Haute Route and other high Alpine tours. Hiking time from Felskinn mountain station is approx. 90 min.

Hannig, Saas-Fee (2,336 m above sea level)Enjoy yourself in the restau-rant and soak up the sun on Saas-Fee's sun mountain. Who knows, with a little luck, you may see some of the local wild animals on the rock face. You can descend on foot or by sledge.

Längfluh, Saas-Fee (2,870 m above sea level)On Längfluh you are closer to the glacier than anywhere else. The high glacier break-offs are fascinating and the highest mountains in Switzer-land majestically tower over them.
