Limitations PLANNINGDo not apply to surfaces below 40F (4C) Do not apply to surfaces above 95F (35C) Material is a vapor barrier after cure, contact Simpson StrongTie for use in exterior ongrade applications

Repair mortars and concrete mixes must be applied while FX752 is still tacky Existing concrete should be fully cured prior to application

Surface PreparationConcrete surface must be sound, clean and free of all contaminants that could impair product adhesion, bond orperformance. Concrete should be a minimum of 28 days old or substantially cured to the equivalent design strength prior

PREPARATIONto FX752 installation. Prepare concrete in accordance with ICRI Guideline 310.2 CSP 59, taking care to avoid microcracking. Remove all loose or deteriorated concrete by chipping hammer, water jetting, or other mechanical meansto achieve an open pore structure and sound concrete surface. Remove all cleaning media and debris by vacuum orblowing with highpressure, oilfree air.MixingFor optimal product performance, condition individual components to 70F (21C) and stir thoroughly prior to use.Do not prepare more material than can be used in the pot life of the product. Proportion Component A andComponent B at a 1A:1B ratio by volume in a clean pail. Mix thoroughly with a lowspeed (300600 rpm) drill andmixing paddle for 3 minutes, scraping unmixed material from sides and bottom of mixing container as needed. Avoidentrapping air into mixture.

Application

EXECUTIONRemove all standing water by vacuum or blowing with oilfree, compressed air prior to installation. FX752 can beinstalled on damp or dry surfaces. Do not install through standing water. Avoid installing at high temperatures or windyconditions to maximize open time. Never apply in direct sunlight.

Apply FX 752 Epoxy Bonding Agent by brush, roller, spray or squeegee at a rate of 60100 ft.2/gal. (1.52.5 m2/L), depending on surface profile and porosity. Immediately install repair materials or concrete mix into wet FX 752. Do not allow FX752 to dry or become tackfree before concrete or mortar installation. If FX752 does dry or becomes tackfree, abrade surface and recoat. Do not apply more bonding agent than can be effectively covered with repair mortars or concrete mixes while remaining wet.
