Usingthissimpleonlineservice,youcan:

Pleasenote:The‘PersonalUsage’sectioninthisuserguideisonlyapplicableifyourcompanyusesSplitbill.

Splitbillallowsyoutodifferentiateyourpersonalandbusinessusagethroughataggingprocess.YourBillAnalyseradministratorwillbeabletotellyouifyouareparticipating.

Anoteonbrowsers:

GreatcarehasbeentakentooptimisethisserviceforuseacrossallInternetExplorerbrowsers.HoweverBillAnalyser’sadvancedfunctionalityreliesonwebstandardsthatsomeolderbrowsersdonotfullysupport.Asaresult,someusersmayencounterproblemswhenusingolderbrowsers.T-MobilerecommendsusingthelatestversionofInternetExplorer.

Usage Trends AnalysisTheUsageTrendsAnalysissectiondisplaysagraphthatcomparesusageandindicates‘Totalcost’foreachmonth.Youcanselectanyoftheseinvoicesthenbetakentothedashboardforthatinvoice.Upto15invoicesofsummarytrendchargescanbedisplayedifrequired.

Watch PointsWatchPointsallowyoutokeepaneyeonthecostofcallingspecificnumbers.It’scustomisable–youcanspecifyupto5numberstobeshown.Thetotalspendforeachnumberisprovided,aswellasthechangesincethelastinvoice.

Note:WhenyoumakechangestoyourWatchPointsitmaytakeafewminutesbeforethehomepageisupdated.YoucancontinuetouseBillAnalyserasnormalduringthistime.

Observations and ActionsObservationsandActionshelpyoumonitorspecificcostsorusage.Forexample,youcanchoosetobepromptedifinternationaltrafficgrowsbymorethan5%.Thesystemthenrecommendstheappropriateaction,typicallyprovidingalinktotherelevantreport.

Tosetobservationsthresholds,clickthe‘(edit)’link.Thisscreendetailseachobservationcategoryandallowsyoutoselectfromapre-definedrangeofthresholdsorusethedefault.Therangestartsat10%andincreaseintens.

Address BookBillAnalysergivesyouyourownPersonalAddressBook.It’savailableassoonasyoulogin,fromthe‘Usage’screen,byclicking‘PersonalAddressBook’intheleft-handmenu.Alternatively,youcanclickonthe‘MyProfile’tab.

Eachentrymustincludeaname,anumberandanumbertype(Email/Home/Work/MobileorFax).Thenanyreferencetothatnumberonotherscreenswillincludethedetailsyouentered.However,notethatifthesamenumberislistedintheCompanyAddressBook,detailsfromthatentrywilltakepriority.

IfyouuseSplitbill,youcanalsotagentriesinyouraddressbook,sothatfuturecallstothisnumberareautomaticallycategorisedasworkorpersonal.SeePersonalUsagetolearnmore.

Usage Tagging

UsageTaggingisonlyavailableifyouareselectedtoparticipateinSplitbill.Ifyoudon’tseethismenuoption,pleaseskipaheadtotheReportssectionofthisuserguide.

UsageTaggingallowsyoutodefinewhichcalls,textsandotherusageonyourbillwerepersonal(tagged)orforbusiness(untagged).

Totagadiallednumber,yousimplyclickonthe iconnexttoitsothatacrossappearslikethis. Youcanalsodrilldownwiththe icontoviewindividualusageitemsforthatdiallednumberandtagtheminthesamemanner.Ifyouonlytagsomeoftheindividualcallstoadiallednumber,whenyoucomebacktothepreviousscreentheiconwilllooklikethis andthatdiallednumberwillbepartiallytagged.

Onceyouhavefinishedtaggingyourcallsforthatbillyouneedtoclickthe‘SaveAllTagging’buttonatthebottomofthepage.

Tosubmityourusagetagging,simplyclick‘SubmitTagging’.Thiswillalsolockyourbillsothatnofurthertaggingisallowedforthatmonth.

Ifforanyreasonyouneedtounlockthisbillsothatthetaggingcanbeupdated,youwillneedtocontactyourAdministrator.

AtthetopofthereportthereisasummarydetailingthetotalsforPersonal(tagged)andBusiness(untagged)use.Thissummarywillinstantlyupdateasyoutagitems.Clickinganyoftheticonswillre-sortthereport.Forexample,clickingtheiconinthedurationcolumnheaderwillgroupthereportbyhighestorlowesttotalduration.

Note: Ifyounavigatetoapersonalusagereportwithoutsavingyourtagging,apopupboxwillappearaskingyouifyouwishtosave.Ifyouselect‘Yes’yourtaggingwillbesaved,butyouwillneedtore-selectthepersonalusagereportinorderforthereporttoreflectyourchanges.

Donotusethebackbuttononyourbrowserwhilsttaggingusageitems,asthescreenwilljustdefaulttotheDashboard.

Personal Usage ListThisreportshowsalltheitemsthatyouhavetaggedinthe‘UsageTagging’page.

Business Usage ListThisreportshowsalltheitemsthatyouhaveleftuntaggedinthe‘UsageTagging’page.

All Usage ReportThisreportshowsallyouritems–taggedanduntagged.

Clicking any of thet icons will re-sort reports. For example, clicking the icon in the duration column header will group the report by highest or lowest total duration.

You can also chose to hide or show any details from your Personal Address Book.

Reports can be printed, exported or emailed. Exported files are saved in the CSV format, so they can be opened in spreadsheet programs such as Microsoft® Excel®.
