Mass every First Friday of the month at 7pm. Holy Hour immediately following the Mass. Confessions 6:00pm to 7:00pm and during adoration.
Sacrament of the Sick & Communion Calls
First Friday visitation by the priest or a lay person. Please contact the office for further details or to arrange a visit. If you require the visit of a priest, please contact the office to provide us with details.
Funerals Please contact the Funeral Home of your choice first. They will contact the parish office to make church arrangements. Remember Catholic Cemeteries when making your arrangements.
Devotions to St. Jude Every Wednesday after the 8:00am and 7:00pm masses and privately in St. Jude’s Chapel every day.
Confessions The Sacrament of Reconciliation is available Saturdays at 4:15pm; First Friday at 6:00pm and during adoration after 7pm Mass; Third Friday of the month at 6:30pm and after the Healing mass and other times by appointment.
Sacrament of Baptism Contact the parish at least three months before the desired date of baptism. After contacting the office you will have a group interview with the pastor to discuss requirements, sacramental preparation and any other concerns you may have. Please consider starting the process during the pregnancy which will make the attendance to prep-class easier.
First Communion & Confirmation Program
Parents are asked to contact the office for information. Our programs begin in the fall (September or October) and end with the reception of the sacraments. To pre-register for next year’s program, please call the parish office in June so that your child is included in our list. Orientation will be given during the Summer months.
R.C.I.A. and R.C.I.C. Programs The Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA) and for Children (RCIC) has now been implemented. Please contact the office to register and arrange to fill out an application for next year. The RCIA will only take place if a minimum of 5 people register.
Adult Confirmation Parishioners who have not made their First Communion and Confirmation and are now 18 years old and up are invited to sign up for our next adult Confirmation Class at the parish office. Proof of baptism is necessary for this program. Deadline is August 30, 2015
Sacrament of Matrimony Couples contemplating marriage at St. Jude’s parish are required to make contact with the parish office and review the marriage package before an interview with the priest. Diocesan regulation demands that marriages are booked one year in advance minimum.

MASS INTENTIONS Each year on this Sunday we reflect on the image of Jesus as the Good Shepherd, devotedly taking care of his flock. The priest in charge of a par-ish is called a “pastor” because pastor means shepherd, and he shepherds Christ’s sheep. As a shepherd, he leads, feeds, nurtures, comforts, corrects, and protects Christ’s sheep in the parish. The earliest Christians saw Jesus as the fulfillment of the ancient Jewish dream of a good shepherd. They also wished to include the Gentiles as part of God’s flock.
St. Vincent DePaul Society Bundle Weekend May 2nd & 3rd
Spring cleaning is on the horizon. Donations of slightly used clothing, shoes, small housewares and appliances can be dropped off in the truck that will be parked at the back of the church parking lot. Please be mindful to place the items inside and to the back of the truck. NO ELECTRONICS OR FURNITURE WILL BE ACCEPTED. The truck will be open until the last mass of the day. Gala Dinner In Support of Vocations
In our Diocese we have two semi-naries preparing young people for the priesthood. One of them is Redemptoris Mater Missionary Seminary, where our own Fr Bartek was formed and or-dained. This seminary organizes a fund rais-ing dinner once a year, and it will take place on Friday, May 1st. If you want to support the vocations and enjoy a great dinner and night out, please contact Fr Bartek.
Confirmation Age has Changed Please note that as of this year, the age of con-firmation has changed to correspond to the age of those in Grade 7 (seven). The Archdio-cese has made this change official and we
invite parents with children in this grade to stay tuned with parish announcements (bulletin) regarding procedures for this coming year. It is important to know that for 2016 we will have both grade 8 and grade 7 celebrating confirmation dur ing the same year. We are awaiting instruc-tions from the Archdioceses regarding how to proceed this year and how Confirma-tions are to be planned given that we will have double the number only this year. Parents should be contacting the Church
office for any questions, not the school or the teachers, and be sure to get first hand information. The schools will only refer you to us in order to discuss any sacra-ments for your children.

ShareLife This year, Catholics across our archdio-cese are being asked to support the Fam-ily of Faith campaign. This campaign
will provide for the pastoral and tem-poral needs of the archdiocese, such as campus and youth ministry, communica-tion initiatives that will strengthen our family of faith, and support to help new parishes to celebrate Mass in a new church. the ShareLife campaign pro-vides for the needs of our social service agencies, helps our brothers and sisters in Christ across the world, and supports the education of our clergy. Baptism Class and Orientation During the months on July and August, 2105 Baptism Orientation and Baptism Classes will not be available. We ask par-ents who are planning to request a baptism to keep in mind that once classes and ori-entations stop during the summer, the pro-cess cannot start until September. This does not mean that there are no baptisms in July and August, but only those who prepare ahead of time can choose any of these two months as baptism’s dates.
