7 reasons You may never accomplish something significant

1. PROCRASTINATION

But be doers of the word, and not hearers

only, deceiving yourselves.

2. YOU ALLOWED YOUR PAST TO IDENTIFY YOU

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God. I Cor 6:9-11

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Cor 5:17

3. YOU ARE MORE OBSESSED WITH WHAT OTHERS THINK OF YOU

Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. Col 3:2,3

For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. Gal 1:10

4. YOU DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT IS IN

YOU

13 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14 who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory. Eph 1:13,14

20 Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Eph 3:20

5. YOU ARE AFRAID

10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isa 41:10

6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. Heb 11:6

6. YOU BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE AN ACCIDENT

13 For You formed my inward parts;  You covered me in my mother’s womb. 14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and

wonderfully made;     Marvelous are Your works,       And that my soul knows very well. 15 My frame was not hidden from You,     When I was made in secret,      And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the

earth. 16 Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.     And in Your book they all were written,      The days fashioned for me,       When as yet there were none of them.

7. YOU ARE OBSESSED WITH THINGS OF ZERO SIGNIFICANCE COMPARED

TO ETERNITY

And the world is passing away, and the lust of it; but he who does the will of God

abides forever. 1 Jn 2:17
