Your family name

This agreement is being made to signify the importance of education in our home and that education is to be taken

seriously. After a lot of research and discussion, homeschooling has been determined to be the best educational style

for ____________________ and our family. Homeschooling is a journey that the entire family participates on.

It must be recognized that homeschooling is not about studying just what you want; but rather, homeschooling pertains

to the entire education of the student in the home atmosphere. This means that all core subjects, enrichment, and

reinforcement will be performed at home and/or under the direct supervision of the parent(s) who will be participating

on the homeschooling journey as well. It is the responsibility of the parent and student to make homeschooling

successful for both the student and the parent teacher.

In regards to your studies, it must be noted that it is not how long that you are doing school, but instead, it is the mastery

of the subjects in which you are being taught. The length of the day does not compare to the knowledge that you are

being asked to learn. Part of the learning process will involve subjects that come easy to you and others that do not.

You must take the time that is necessary to learn the subject matter while your parent teacher is taking the time to

teach. As long as you stay engaged in the subject, whether you like it or not, you will learn the subject being taught.0

Since homeschooling is a school setting at home, proper respect and discipline shall be observed while schooling. It is

never normal to be rude, disrespectful, or disruptive to the homeschooling process, lessons, studies, homework, and

projects that you will be asked to perform as part of your learning.
