As a third generation Jehovah’s Wit-ness, Mary Kochan was fully im-mersed in their activities until adult-hood. She offers an insider’s view about what life is like for Jehovah’s Witnesses and what is most likely to help them come to the fullness of truth about Jesus Christ.

Born a slave in Missouri, Fr. Augus-tine Tolton became the first African-American priest in the U.S., where he was much loved by the people and showed great priestly zeal. This story of Fr. Tolton’s courage in the face of incredible prejudice within the Church and society will be a source of strength and hope for modern Christians who face persecu-tion for their faith. Also included is an interview with Bishop Joseph Per-ry, in which he outlines the ongoing cause for the canonization of Fr. Tol-ton.
