All About Hotel Valencia RiverwalkHotel Valencia Riverwalk is a 213-room luxury boutique hotel in San Antonio, Texas perfectly situated near fine dining, shopping and entertainment. Enjoy contemporary and stylish rooms and suites, superior amenities, fine dining in a chic setting and the utmost comfort during your stay at our hotel on the San Antonio River Walk.

In 2017, the hotel unveiled a dramatic top-to-bottom renovation. Internationally acclaimed architect and designer Lauren Rottet has completely reimagined the property, fully immersing it into the charm and heritage of San Antonio and the hotel’s serene River Walk location. The resulting design concept is an alluring blend of Spanish Colonial and Modern Mediterranean styles.

Executive Chef Anthony Mesa toured

Argentina and immersed himself in the

rich culinary heritage of the country.

He experienced the influences from Spain, Italy,

France and other cultures that are woven into both

classic and modern Argentinian cuisine. The Dorrego’s

menu is a result of this experience and showcases

fresh, local ingredients with an imaginative approach

to steaks, seafood, fowl and more. Chef tells us,

“The addition of Argentinian sausage in the Patagonian

Omelet reminds me of my morning meals in the

country. The chimichurri sauce I serve with our steaks

is a recipe from my friend and guide, Santiago. He

was also the inspiration for our house-cured short rib

pastrami, called Santipan on the dinner menu. Be sure

to try our award winning empanadas too!”
