Welcome everyone to our Seventh Annual Bull Sale. What a time to be in the

cattle industry. Record prices for calves and slaughter cattle, we have been

waiting a long time for this. Hats off to the cattlemen that have endeavored,

the last several years and stuck with it. It is now time to reap the rewards of

superior genetics that you have purchased from the past. Thanks again to

our customers who have placed themselves in a solid position in the cow

business using our genetics.

The bull pen this year is very deep, the addition of new genetics in both

breeds is very evident. The Dam’s of the bulls are moderate in type and easy

doing, if they can’t exist under our ranch conditions they don’t stay. There is

a lot of cow families that keep showing up in the pedigrees of the bulls on

offer. This shows how important cow families are to us.

We are a family operation, we do all the daily work and we know our herd

very well. If you have any questions or want to discuss certain bulls for your

program, give us a call and we can recommend bulls that work well in your

herd.New this year our sale will be on DLMS, so if you want to watch or bid get

in contact with them prior to sale day to register as a buyer. This is another option

for our customers. Remember sometimes there is a delay in the bidding so don’t

wait for the the “last call’ the hammer may come down before you have a chance

to bid!!

We still have a sight unseen buying program, with a 100% buyer satisfaction, give

Cactus 2Z Dam is a moderate, great uddered cow and is on the Angus Elite Cow List. The Grand Sire 25S has left an outstanding set of young cows at Jensen’s. Here is a great individual. Ground Pounder is huge hipped, deep sided, soft made and tons of hair, standing on an excellent foot. Cactus 2Z did an amazing job for us on his first calf crop, he is a big time performance bull, with great maternal heritage behind him. I don’t no wether you will find a squarer hipped and wider pinned set of bulls than the cactus 2Z sons, there is several herd bull potential bulls in his offering. Cactus himself is a tank, with exceptional length and a big square hip and excellent foot. Everyone that sees him is impressed. His biggest attribute might be his daughters, as they are tanks. Daytona has as much future as any Hereford bull we have raised over the years. He is super long, deep sided, super thick and soft made, with a ton of hair. He has that herd bull presence about him. I can’t say enough about the way his sire Dakota has bred for us, after seeing Dakota’s Dam again I can see why. She is one of the best Hereford cows I have seen. The Dam is an outstanding Braun cow.
