The main reason for taking this class was curiosity. I was curious about the name of the class and what its potential was. I was also recommended to take the class by a close friend. She told me about the awesome grading system of the class. I guess my main reason wasn’t really curiosity but my deep love for all things new in technology.

LEARNING PREFERENCES

I scored a fairly well balanced score on my learning preference questionnaire. When it came down to it I was pretty well balanced for 50 percent of the styles. It was no surprise because I have always known that I do pretty well learning from most professors methods of teaching. Although I was a bit on the sequential spectrum, I believe this is do to my extensive mathematical history.

CONCEPT OF LEARNING PREFERENCES

• Knowing them can help in and out of school

• Allow you to become a more efficient learner

• Help you on your future career

Since I was fairly balanced I can hold a neutral perspective on most of the learning Preferences. Meaning I can try not to depend too much on any style. Knowing them Can help in and out of school. You never stop learning and knowing how you learn Will help me in and out of school. I’m a big fan of efficiency I love anything that runs Smooth and or efficiently. Knowing how I learn will help me know what to do and what Not to do and will make my learning much more effective. Knowing how I learn will also Benefit me in my future career.

LEARNING WARRIOR

• I thought I should focus on my strengths

in everyday life

When I ever have the choice between any sort of class I always choose warrior.I thought that since I didn’t really recognize a lot of the other techs I should focus on theOnes that I did recognize. However during the semester I became curious about many other and decided to try them out too.

Well the reality was that in the beginning I did only focus on the techsThat I choose to focus on in my plan. However after taking a look at Many other difference techs I couldn’t help myself. It was not necessary For me to try new things like a learning sage but I decided to when I saw myOptions. Overall though I believe that the activities did help me on my pathTo a learning warrior.

I focused a lot on IPods and MP3 players because they are the Most convenient tech that we looked at. They are easy to carry around And they also do a good job of storing information. I also focused a fairAmount of iPads and Tablets because I own one and if I could use it to Help myself learn why wouldn’t I? I also decided to focus a lot on MMOGsAnd Games because, well I have tons of experience with games and it onlySeemed right.

My overall experience with tech was a fun one. I had fun learning about new technologies and Even had fun learning with some of them. Who knew that learning could be fun? I also learned thatSometime things don’t always have only one use. I learned that games can also be used for learning!I also found new and creative ways of learning using tech.

FACTORS• What a big difference sleep can make

• Exercising helps not only your body but your brain

• Eating healthy is key

I had no idea the impact that some of the physiological concepts that we learnedHelped us learn better. I knew that not enough sleep was bad, but I had never Experience the difference that having a good nights rest has on your learning. I also Didn’t see the effect that lack of exercise was having on my learning and overall health.Although many of these physiological concepts were big in my learning, none had the effects That healthy eating had on my learning.

USING KNOWLEDGE IN THE FUTURE

The biggest challenge that I now have is to stick with the changes I have made throughout thisClass. I know that sometimes I’m not the best at sticking with new habits, so that will be my priority.I will also continue to find and search for new technology that I can use to learn with. Keeping the Newly learned habits for short term is easy but if I can make them a lifelong habit they will help me Immensely. The more you know about your learning the more you can come up with innovative waysOf Learning.
