Synthesis of Sentences – Perfect Participle.

The Perfect Participle can be used to shorten or combine clauses that have same subject if one action is completed before the next action starts.

The batsman took his bat and gloves. He walked towards the pavilion.Having taken his bat and gloves, the batsman walked towards the pavilion.

ANR sir finished his teaching. He left to another class.Having finished his teaching ANR sir left to another class.

Mother prepared food for the baby. She started feeding.Having prepared food for the baby, mother started feeding.

The Perfect Participle can be used to shorten or combine clauses that have same subject if one action has been going on for a period of time when another action starts.

He had been living for such a long time that he didn’t want to move to another place.Having lived there for such a long time, he didn’t want to move to another place.

I had been teaching for 25 years. I didn’t have any idea of changing my profession.Having taught for 25 years, I didn’t have any idea of changing of my profession.

I completed solving the first sum. I started the second one.Having completed solving the first sum, I started the second one.

The first sum was completed. I started the second one.Having the first sum been completed, I started the second one.

I wrote my examination. I gave my books to my juniors.Having written my examination, I gave my books to my juniors.

My examinations were written. I gave my books to my juniors.Having my examinations been written, I gave my books to my juniors.
