AlkaloidsU 0600 Synthesis and Inhibition of Cancer Cell Proliferation of (1,3')-Bis-tetrahydro-

isoquinolines and Piperazine Systems. — Potentially reactive bistetrahydroisoquin-olines and piperazine pentacyclic systems are prepared with respect to DNA alkylation and formation of covalent adducts. The most active compounds such as (IX) and (XII) show antiproliferative activity against a variety of cancer cell lines in the micromolar range. — (AUBRY, S.; PELLET-ROSTAING, S.; FOURNIER DIT CHABERT, J.; DUCKI, S.; LEMAIRE*, M.; Bioorg.
