WE BELIEVE GOD CALLED US TO MINISTRY—not the event business. And
we believe transformational ministry is about people, not programs. So
five years ago when we created the first Simply Youth Ministry Conference
we did something “unconventional.” We didn’t follow the typical big-show
event format. We simply followed our passion for loving Jesus and loving
others, and built a conference for youth workers from the same
CORE VALUES WE BELIEVE ARE fOUNDATIONAL IN MINISTRY.
JOIN HOSTS DOUG FIELDS, RICK LAWRENCEand 2,500 other brothers and sisters in Christ who share your passion.
Experience the difference at A CONFERENCE
CREATED by yOUTH WORKERS FOR yOUTH WORKERS.
You are not alone in this ministry journey.

Over 150 claSSeS tO chOOSe FrOm: you’ll get 2-3 times the amount of content and options than other training events—with more time for depth and discussion and more practical solutions for your ministry needs.
interactive Small-claSS FOrmat: Learn from dynamic speakers who don’t simply lecture, but interact and engage with you! Class size is limited so there’s enough room to learn comfortably, and many classes have round-table seating so discussion can take place and relationships with peers can develop.
practical, relevant inFOrmatiOn: Leave with solutions to strengthen your ministry and impact students. Classes take time to focus on the practical application of ideas into any ministry context. discussion, coaching and post-class peer panels with a diverse team of youth ministry veterans offers you added opportunities to explore ideas from the trenches.
perSOnal attentiOn FrOm tOp-nOtch SpeakerS & leaderS: today’s most respected voices in youth ministry commit to syMC’s “4 days of Ministry engagement,” which means they are here and accessible day & night to engage with you in and out of the classroom!
in-depth learninG: go beyond the surface and take learning to the next level! (see below.)
pre-cOnFerence trackS Join us Friday (9am-4pm) for an extra day of training! or, purchase Pre-Conference tracks as a “1-day Pass” for team members who want training without the cost of full registration. Pre-Conference tracks are $59, which includes lunch with the speaker.
deeper learninG trackS are a key distinctive of syMC and live into our core value of in-depth learning. instead of being overwhelmed by the fire-hose blast of information in a typical seminar, this revolutionary class format takes time to wrestle with concepts, explores new ideas and how to implement them in your own ministry. deeper Learning tracks offer a progressive series of four classes (2 hours each) for a total of eight intense hours focused on that topic with the same speaker(s). stay in one track or hop around and sample other sessions!
halF-trackS if you want depth with more variety, Half-tracks are like deeper Learning tracks, but in half the time! Half-tracks offer a series of two classes (2 hours each) for a total of four hours.
wOrkShOpS are still meaty with 2 full hours of learning and additional time for Q&a. if you’re looking for variety, you can choose from more than 50 classes.
peer panelS offer practical, diverse perspectives on a topic in a Q&a format. Moderated by a speaker, the sessions feature a panel of seasoned, in-the-trench youth workers who will share their “best practice” examples from their ministries and offer solutions to your questions.
