Mutualism is a relatioship in which two organisms live in a community and depend on each other.

Both organisms benefit from the relationship. Example: termites living in a dead log, bacteria that lives in the human intestine

Is a relatioship in which two organisms live in a community, and one benefits while the other gets no benefit and is not harmed.

Example: orchids plants and trees

PARASITISM

Is a relationship between two organisms in which one is helped and the other is harmed.

The living thing on which the parasite lives is called the host.

One organism benefits and the other is harmed.

An animal that hunts,kills,and eats another animal is a predator.

The predator kills the prey.
