Symbiosis Notes
•Use the following slides to fill in your symbiosis boxes.
•You are writing everything in blue (definition and any example listed) in the top box, AND drawing the smiley faces in the bottom box.
•The symbiosis definition goes at the top beside the word symbiosis.

Example: food, water, shelter, space, or sunlight
*Draw what emoji makes you think of competition in the bottom box*
Symbiosis Coloring Activity• Color in the scenario given to match it to one of the following:
mutualism, parasitism, commensalism, or predation. You make a small mark instead of coloring the entire box if you want to to wait to completely color when you check it.
• There are 5 of each.
• Mutualism = red
• Commensalism = blue
• Parasitism = green
• Predation = yellow
• DO NOT MOVE FORWARD UNTIL YOU ARE FINISHED.

Symbiosis Sort
• Use your sort paper and pieces to sort each relationship into commensalism, parasitism, and mutualism.
• DO NOT HIT NEXT UNTIL YOU'VE SORTED!
Help:
• An oxpecker and a plover are both types of birds.
• A sea anemone is similar to a plant under the water that certain fish live in (like Nemo!).
