Symantec as the #1 enterprise security platform is uniquely placed to drive innovation and shape the industry. As the Customer Success Stories Director you will be in the driver’s seat by creating Symantec’s first Customer Success program; shaping how we engage and retain valued customers, and developing capability that doesn’t currently exist. Reporting to the CMO, the Customer Success Stories Director will be integral part of the Marketing leadership team and will manage all of Symantec’s customer stories. You will own the program end-to-end, from the identification, nurturing, story development and video production of compelling customer stories. Responsibilities x Create, maintain and manage a Customer Reference Program. x Build partnerships internally with PR, Sales & Product Marketing to qualify an ongoing stream of customers for use in a variety of marketing campaigns, programs and public relations testimonials. x Create and negotiate visibility opportunities with including, media interviews, press releases and analysts references. x Build a program for reference customers ensuring an active customer voice in Symantec’s marketing programs and campaigns. Ongoing management of program, including customer recognition program for their contributions and ensure their success stories are always fresh. x Lead a team focused on project management of Customer Success, including: strategic planning, detailed logistics management, high-touch customer engagement and coordination, flawless event execution, reporting and analysis for pipeline/quota tracking. x Work cross-functionally with Corporate and Product Marketing to create awareness and content. Qualifications x 10+ years of Customer Experience or Customer Storytelling in an agency or in-house setting. x Product Marketing/Management experience in a large scale enterprise software companies is a plus. x Must have extensive experience working in PowerPoint. x Excellent communication skills. x Proven track record of being highly organized and completing projects on time and within budget. x Experience with large scale enterprise software companies is ideal, entrepreneurial spirit is essential. x BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
