Kalimah

The first Kalimah ‘Tayyibah’ (Purity)

The second Kalimah ‘Shahaadah’ (Witness)

The fourth Kalimah ‘Tawheed’ (Oneness)

یت بیادہ الای اہ الامد یی وا ی لک وا ل اہ ال اہ ل ریکا ل ہ لا شا حدا ہ وا الہا الا الل لا ا وا عال ک وا قادیر

There is no God but Allah, He is One, He has no partner. Everything belongs to Him and all praise is due to Him. He

gives life and death and in His power lays all goodness. And He has power over everything possible

The fifth Kalimah ‘Radd-e-Kufr’ (Refuting Infidelity)

ھما الل ام بہ تب ا اعل ا لا ا غفرکا لا استا ام بہ وا ا اعل ا ناا ا یئا وا ا اعوذ بکا من اان اشرکا بکا شا ا ت عانہ وا انا اص کلھا عا الا البھتاان وا ة وا الغیبا الکذب وا رک وا أت منا الکفر وا الش ا امت تابا اسل نت وا ا وا اما

ہ سول الل د را ہ ماما الہا الا الل اقول لا اO Allah! I seek refuge in You, from associating anything with You which I know of and I seek repentance from that

which I have no knowledge of. I have repented from and renounced Kufr, Shirk, lying, backbiting, slandering and every

type of sin. I have embraced Islam completely and I have brought complete faith. And I declare that there is no God but

Allah and Muhammads is the Messenger of Allah

Sifat-e-Iman-e-Mujmal

ار ارکانہ اقرا احکامہ وا ا یعا ا اتہ وا قابلت جا ائہ وا صفا اسا وا با ا ما ہ کا نت بالل ان وا تاصدیق ل باا اما السالب بالقا

I believe in Allah just as He exists with all His Names and Attributes. I have accepted all His commands and His

obligations and I endorse this with my tongue and by the truth in my heart

Sifat-e-Iman-e-Mufassal

تہ وا کتبہ وا رسل ئکا ل ہ وا ما نت بالل اما ال وا ال ہ تاعا ہ منا الل ر ہ وا شا ی در خا القا الیاوم الخر وا باعث ہ واوت باعدا الا

I believe in Allah, and all His Angels, and His Books, and all His Messengers, the Final Day, and in Destiny, the good

and bad of which is from Allah Ta’ala and I believe in the resurrection after death

Dua

Before eating

کا ہ وا عال بارا ہ ة بسم الل الل Allah in the name of and with the blessings of Allah

Forgetting to say Bismillah

لہ وا اخرہ اوا ہ ف ا بسم اللAllah in the name of at the start and end

After eating

اذ ہ ال الامد لل سلمیا ا اناا منا ال ل عا اناا وا جا قا ناا وا سا ما اطعا ی ا All praise is for Allah who has fed us, gave us drink and made us Muslims

Eating at guest’s house

اناا قا ن سا اسق ما ناا وا ما اطعا ن ا ھما اطعم ما الل اO Allah! Feed those who have fed us and quench those who have quenched us

Before sleeping

اح اموت وا ا کا ا ھما باس الل اO Allah! In your name if die and live

After sleeping

ایہ النشور اتاناا وا ال اما ا ا احیااناا باعدا ما اذی ا ہ ال الامد لل اAll praise is for Allah who has given us life after death and to Him we shall return

Salaam

حا ایکم وا را ل لا م عا السا ہ ة ا الل Salaam be upon you and the mercy of Allah

Reply to Salaam

ایکم وا ل لا م عا حا السا ہ ة وا را کا تہ الل وا بارا And Salaam be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings

Before entering the toilet

ائث الابا اعوذ بکا منا البث وا ا ھما ان الل اO Allah! I seek refuge in You from filth and impurity

After leaving the toilet

ا اذی ا ہ ال الامد لل اناکا ا ان غفرا اذی وا عاافا ال با عان ا ذ I seek Your forgiveness. All praise is for Allah who has removed this impurity from me and gave me relief

When entering the Masjid

تکا حا ابا را ابوا ح ل ا ھما افتا الل اO Allah! Open for me the doors of Your mercy

When leaving the Masjid

تکا حا ضلکا وا را لکا من فا اسئا ا ھما ان الل اO Allah! Verily I seek Your bounty and Your mercy

Travelling on land

اہ مقرنیا وا انا ا کناا ل ا وا ما ذا اناا خارا ل اذی سا انا ال ہ سبحا الامد لل لبونا ا نقا بناا لا ا ال را All praise is for Allah. Glory be to Him who has caused this vehicle to be under our control though we were unable to

control it. Surely we will return to our Lord.

When looking into the mirror

ن سا انتا حا ھما ا الل ق ا ن خل س ق فاحا ل تا خا O Allah! You have made my body beautiful so beauty my character as well

Wearing clothes

یاا ت اما بہ ف حا اتا ت وا ا اریا بہ عاورا ا اوا ان ما سا اذی کا ہ ال الامد لل اAll praise is for Allah who clothed me with that by which I cover my shame and by which I beautify myself in my life.

Leaving the house

ولا وا لا قوا ہ وا لا حا لت عالا الل کا ہ تاوا ةا بسم الل ہ الا با لل Allah in the name of, I have put my trust in Allah and there is no power nor might except Allah

I’tikaf

یت سنا ال ةا ناوا ہ تاعا العتکاف لل I have made the intention of Sunnah I’tikaaf for the pleasure of Allah

Dua when keeping a fast

2011/1432

ا ا ا مت وا ما ا قادا اغفرل ما اکا فا اصوم غادا ل ھما ا الل رت ا خا O Allah! I will fast tomorrow for Your sake, hence forgive my past and future sins

Dua when breaking a fast

با من قا تا رت فا افطا لت وا عال رزقکا ا کا ایکا تاوا ل نت وا عا اکا صمت وا بکا اما ھما ل الل اO Allah! I fasted for Your sake, I have belief in You, I have trust in You and I dine with the sustenance provided by

you therefore accept this fast from me.

Dua for parents

ا غی یاان صا با ا را ما ا کا ھما ب ارحا ھما را الل اO Allah! Shower Your mercy upon them in the same may they nourished me when I was small

Seeing a person suffering

اقا تافضیل ل ن خا ا م ثی ان عال کا ل ضا ا ابتالا کا بہ وا فا ان ما اذی عاافا ہ ال الامد لل اAll praise belongs to Allah who has saved me from such a condition which is afflicted on you and favoured me over

many creations

Dua when entering cemetery

اکم تابع وا اناا ن ل اف وا نا ل اناا سا ا نتم ل سلمیا ا ا القبور منا ال ا ا ا ایکم یا ل لا م عا السا ہ ا ا ا الل ان شاحقو افیا بکم لا اکم العا اناا وا ل ہا ل ال الل رینا ناسأ اخ أ تا ال میا مناا وا د قا تا ہ ال م الل رحا اناا ةا نا یا ہ ل غفر الل یا

اکم ہ وا ایا ناا الل رحا اکم وا یا وا لPeace be upon you O Muslims of the grave! You are our predecessors and we are your progeny, and we shall, Allah

willing, meet you. Allah showers His mercy upon those who have past and those that will come. We ask Allah that He

forgives us all and showers His mercy upon us.

I am performing Wudu to remove this (spiritual)l impurity. I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed devil. Allah in the

name of the most affectionate, the most merciful. Allah in the name of the most high and I thank Allah for keeping me

steadfast upon the religion of Islam

Azaan

اد یعا ال “O Allah! Lord of this complete invitation and the Lord of this everlasting Salaah until the Day of Judgement.

Grant our master Muhammad (the rank of) Waseela and give him the highest rank and the most exalted status

above Your entire creation. Elevate him to the Maqaam-e-Mehmood as You have vowed and include us in his

intercession on the Day of Judgement. Indeed You do not go against Your promise.”

Thanaa

کا ا ھما وا بامدکا وا تاباارا اناکا الل کا سبحا الہا غای لا کا وا د ال جا کا وا تاعا س Glorified are You, O Allah! I am praising You and Your name is blessed. Your Magnificence is great and there is

no God besides You

Ta-awwuz

ا ب ذ و ع ا م ی ج الرا ن ط ی الشا نا م ہ الل I seek refuge in Allah from the cursed devil.

Tasmiyah

م س ب م ی ح الرا ن ح الرا ہ الل Allah in the name of the most affectionate, the most merciful.

Tasbeeh for Ruku

All forms of worship, Salaah and purity are for the sake of Allah. O Beloved Prophet! Peace be upon you and may

the mercy and blessings of Allah descend upon you. Peace be upon us and upon the pious servants of Allah. I testify

that there is no god except Allah and I testify that Muhammad is the servant and Messenger of Allah

Durood-e-Ibraheem

ی ا یدناا ابرا ایتا عال سا ل ا صا ما د کا یدناا ماما عال ال سا د وا یدناا ماما ھما صا عال سا الل یدناا ا عال ال سا ما واید اب ید ما یما اناکا حا ا کتا عال را ا باارا ما د کا یدناا ماما عال ال سا د وا یدناا ماما ھما باارک عال سا الل ا

ید ید ما یما اناکا حا ا یدناا ابرا عال ال سا یما وا ا یدناا ابرا ساO Allah! Shower mercy upon our master, Muhammad and upon his family in the same way You sent mercy upon

our master Ibrahim and upon his family. Indeed You are of the highest esteem. O Allah! Send blessings upon our

master, Muhammad and upon his family in the same way You sent blessings upon our master Ibrahim and upon

his family. Indeed You are of the highest esteem

Dua-e-Mathurah

سلمیا وا ال ؤمناات وا ال ؤمنیا وا ادا وا لامیع ال ال ن تاوا لا یا وا الدا ھما اغفرل وا لوا الل ات ا سلما احیاا ال ال ایا اح ما الرا ارحا ا ا تکا یا حا ات برا عوا ات اناکا میب الدا اموا ال منھم وا

O Allah! Forgive me, my parents and those who have been born, all the believing men and women, and the

Muslims, those who are alive and those who have passed away. Indeed You are the acceptor of all supplications with

Your mercy, O the One Who shows mercy more than everyone else

Dua-e-Qunoot

ایکا وا نثن ل کا عا وا غفرکا وا نؤمن بکا وا ناتا ھما اناا ناستاعینکا وا ناستا الل ایکا الایا وا ناشکرکا ا ل عا وا ناسجد وا ا ل اکا نصا اکا ناعبد وا ل ھما ایا الل فجرکا ا ن یا ک ما اع وا نات ل لا ناکفرکا وا نا ایکا ناسع وا ل

اباکا بالکفا اباکا انا عاذا ش عاذا تاکا وا نا حا فد وا نارجوا را ار ملحق وا نا O Allah! We seek help from You and seek forgiveness from You. We bring faith upon You and we rely upon You.

We praise You after every virtue and we are grateful to You, we are not ungrateful. We distance ourselves from

those who commit sin. O Allah! Only You we worship and for You we pray Salaah, perform Sajdah and we are

dependent on Your mercy. We are fearful of Your punishment. Indeed Your punishment is for the disbelievers

Tayammum

Today’s Zohar has been exempt from me by performing Jumu’ah for the sake of Allah behind this Imam facing towards

the blessed Ka’ba, Allahu akbar.

Intention for Taraweeh

Intention for Eid-ul-Fitr Namaz

I have made the intention to recite, for the sake of Allah, two Rakaats of Eid-ul-Fitr with 6 Takbeers behind this Imam,

facing towards the blessed Ka’ba, Allahu akbar.

Intention for Eid-ul-Adhaa Namaz

عا ستا ی ما تا کعا ال را ہ تاعا ا لل ل ان اصا یت ا لو ة ناوا ات صا ا ةا تاکبیا ا الما یت بھذا ح اقتادا اض م عید الھا ال جھا ج وا عبا ة متا ة الکا اکبا ہ ا الل ریف ا الشا

I have made the intention to recite, for the sake of Allah, two Rakaats of Eid-ul-Fitr with 6 Takbeers behind this Imam,

facing towards the blessed Ka’ba, Allahu akbar.

Intention for Janazah Namaz

ا م ا الما یت بھذا یت اقتادا ا الا ذا ادعوا ل ال وا ا ہ تاعا ل لل اصاI pray to Allah and supplicate for this deceased behind this Imam

Thanaa for Janazah

کا وا تاعا کا اس ھما وا بامدکا وا تاباارا اناکا الل کا سبحا د کا وا جا ا ثاناائکا ال جا الہا غای لا وا Glorified are You, O Allah! I am praising You and Your name is blessed. Your Magnificence is great and Your

praise is most high and there is no God besides You

Dua for deceased man & woman

ھما الل دناا وا غاا ا ا یتناا وا شا ہ ئ اغفر لایناا وا ما احیایتا ن ا ھما ما الل رناا وا انثناا ا کا ناا وا ذا بی ناا وا کا غی بناا وا صاہ عالا الیاان فا وا تا ہ مناا فا یتا فا ن تاوا م وا ما احیہ عالا السلا ا مناا فا

O Allah! Forgive the living and the dead, the present and the absent, the young and old, every man and woman. O

Allah! Whoever You keep alive, guide them to live according to the teachings of Islam and whoever You cause to die,

let them die in the state of Imaan

Dua for deceased boy [girl]

O Allah! Let him [her] forerun us to make arrangement for us in the Hereafter and make him [her] an intercessor and

the one whose intercession is sure to be accepted.
