Largest Yacht Ever Built in South America

In July, MCP Yachts launched Raffaella II after 2.5 years of

construction. Since the aluminium yacht is extremely

lightweight, the shipyard’s 150t travelift only took a few

minutes to load. In the upcoming weeks Hemisphere

140 Raffaella II will undergo sea trials and small finishing details

before being delivered to her Brazilian owner.

RMK Marine Introduces Keyla

After a major refit, RMK Marine announced the delivery of 45m

Keyla – formerly known as Chevy Toy, Stanley Z. Originally built

by Trinity Yachts, Keyla has an aluminium semi displacement

hull and superstructure and two MTU/DDC 16V2000 engines.

RMK Marine and the Hot Lab – Yacht & Design studio in Milan

worked together for more than a year to refit the yacht after a

series of meetings with the owner and family, who are

enthusiasts of photography, art and fossil collecting – which is

reflected in the refit.

Alphatron Signs Deal with Net-Logic

Alphatron Marine Systems Pte Ltd signed a distribution deal to

Dual Compass Monitor and Selector with integrated course

monitor allows system redundancy on any gyrocompass

Royal Huisman Looks Eastward

Royal Huisman expanded their Asian presence with regional

liaisons in Hong Kong and China. Royal Huisman has been

increasingly active in building its brand within the Asian

economic region. In fact, the 57m Royal Huisman-built ketch

Twizzle has become a celebrated ambassador in the region.

She cruised and chartered extensively in Asian waters,

presented spectacularly at the Singapore and Phuket shows

and won an array of awards including Asia Boating Awards’

Best Custom Yacht (2011) and Best Asian-based Charter

Yacht (2013).
