12 Years. 5 Cities. 110,000 Visitors.

For over a decade, we’ve been staging Indesign: The Event, alternating yearly between Sydney and Melbourne, and branching out to Brisbane, Singapore and recently Hong Kong.

Formerly known as Saturday in Design, the event started with the inspiration that a design event should itself be highly designed – immersive, curated and experiential. This led to our non-traditional event format, allowing showrooms to communicate their distinct brand cultures, entertain people and showcase international and Australian-made product in the full spotlight of their own space, rather than a regimented trade hall.

Our experiential approach was a hit, and we’ve continued with it ever since, evolving from Saturday in Design to the larger scale Indesign: The Event. What we’ve retained across 12 years, five international cities and 110,000 visitors is our bespoke approach, for an experience that feels boutique and local.
