a weekly event that

destinations on the
Halifax peninsula in
new and healthy ways

Make physical activity enjoyable & give people a sense of freedom.
Remove barriers to accessing the peninsula and promote a vibrant downtown.
Enable and encourage exploration of new parts of the city.
Free downtown community events encourage participation
Short-term and Long-term Vision
Test the idea this summer as a way to gauge interest and build broad public support in HRM for the idea.
In the long-term the goal is for SWITCH to be a weekly or monthly event with the support of key groups.
