Metro Video Fiber Circuit Offerings:AT&T and Verizon

The Result:“WIN/WIN”

Unlike our competitors, who pass on tariff pricing at a cost plus basis, The Switch actually discounts the tariff monthly service charges to the end Customer. While AT&T and Verizon receive slightly less margin per connection, this is offset by significantly higher volume and guaranteed revenue commitment from a single customer, The Switch. Everyone wins…the Customer, the Carrier & The Switch.

The Switch’s Metro Video Fiber Circuit offering was born out of necessity.

In 2008, The Switch set out to move the market to uncompressed High Definition for local connections, switching and ICOD. In order to create these solutions, The Switch convinced AT&T to create an HD local circuit offering. An agreement between AT&T and The Switch lead to a new 2009 product offering, retail tariff and custom offer for The Switch to allow us to bring the new AT&T service to market.

In less than a year The Switch structured a similar agreement with Verizon.

In just under three years, The Switch has provisioned nearly 1250 circuits and is one of the top customers of both AT&T and Verizon.
