President’s Letter Greetings! This crazy season is finally winding down, but we still have one more exhibit! I don’t know whether to consider it the last exhibit of this season or the first exhibit of next season, but our Fun and FunKtional exhibit will be held at the Sidney Berne Davis Art Center (SBDAC) in July in the newly-renovated upstairs Capital Gallery. Details regarding dates are included in this newsletter, and the Prospectus will be distributed shortly. A call for volunteers will go out soon as well, but we will not have to install this exhibit since SBDAC staff is responsible for installations. If you are planning to have someone else bring your work to this exhibit, please note that we will not be accepting Waivers unless they are signed by the participating artist. Anne Dalton, Esq. has advised us that we should not accept Waivers that are signed by others. Please keep this in mind when planning your entry. We’ll officially kick off the 2015-2016 season with our Art Attack exhibit at the Naples Art Association in the von Liebig Art Center in September. Those dates are included in this newsletter as well. Once we are well-organized for the SBDAC exhibit, we’ll turn our attention to the Naples exhibit. The Prospectus and call for volunteers will most likely go out in June. Two Artists@Work have been scheduled for next season at the Alliance for the Arts. They will be on Saturday, October 31, 2015 and Saturday March 5, 2016, once again in conjunction with the Alliance’s Green Market Farmers’ Market. We will need 10-15 artists for each day of demonstrations. We will also need people to help with recruiting for and promotion of the Guild, as well as general helpers. Please let me know if you are interested in participating. The first business meeting of next season will be held on Saturday, September 19, at 12:30 PM at the Cape Coral Arts Studio (CCAS). The program will be Craft Bash 2016. We are in the process of beefing up the event, and we’d like to involve the entire Guild. Make sure you attend to get all the updates and new information. I wish you all a good summer and safe travels! Warm Wishes, Lorraine

    Greetings!

This crazy season is finally winding down, but we still have

one more exhibit! I dont know whether to consider it the last

exhibit of this season or the first exhibit of next season, but

our Fun and FunKtional exhibit will be held at the Sidney Berne
