SWEET STAKES

Sweet Stakes is a candy shop that creates and sells gothic-inspired candies and desserts.

Potential customers could be of any age, but the product would typically be targeted towards teens and young

adults. These customers would also most likely like sweets and the Gothic-style, or at least Halloween in general.

(Gothic style includes things, such as vampires, skulls, lace and more.)

QUESTIONS

The potential customers that I interviewed seemed to really enjoy the idea. However, a few people suggested raising

the age of the target audience from teens and young adults to at least include adults, as well. At least one responder stated that my target audience would end up being way

older than I had planned since many teens and young adults might not even known what “goth” is.

RESPONSES

After a couple interviews, I have come to decide that I should change my target audience’s age to at least include

adults as well as teens and young adults. I had initially thought of this, cutting out adults in an attempt to narrow it down a little more, but now I see that even adults would be

interested in a Gothic candy shop.

Overall, I was thrilled to hear that other people seemed rather interested in the idea of Sweet Stakes.
