It is a long way to Tipperary….
• The Swedish Courts is part of the Judiciary of Sweden, with long traditions and with a very decentralised governance.
• The Digitalisation of the Court processes is far reaching in Sweden, and hence there is great need to a seamless and effective Digital Workplace.
• The members of staff, are highly skilled, with strong sense of guild and mastery of good juridical practise. Hence knowledge sharing, training and ecucation is key for the courts.
• The Courts work in inter-organisational networks with other public agencies, such as the Police, Attorney, Prison and Prohibation etc.

The Digital Workplace is a Process…
• Multiple intranets within the realm of Swedish Courts, given the decentralised Governance of Courts…
– Opportunity to unite into one common set of content with mix of global reach and local touch!
– One technical plattform, lower cost of ownership with shared services – One information governance framework to guide all editors, where,
why, how and to whom? Sound organising principles!
• Depict the intranet with all other supporting platforms, including Sharepoint and Court Legacy Systems.
