The Member Portal application or Web Self Service (WSS) is a Web Application which enables members to view their ‘accumulations’—deductible and out of pocket limits and balances—in addition to viewing claims, finding a physician, etc. to help them investigate and understand their health care payments. Web services are implemented to retrieve the Accumulation and member information from the data sources Also a member can view its claim related details using WSS Application.

Our Scope is to automate and customized the scripts for the entire application using QTP. Also the testing of migrated and non-migrated claims of members of Blue Cross which are being retrieved into the Member Portal.

Roles and Responsibilities: Involved in Preparation of Test Plan based on Requirements documents. Design and implemented Hybrid Framework on HP QTP for web based application. Develop and configure test automation frameworks. Used HP Quick Test Professional (QTP) for regression testing and running the automation suite. Optimized Quick Test Professional (QTP) scripts for Regression testing of the application with

various data sources and data types. Responsible for Test Execution and Reports test result anomalies using HP Quality Center.
