The intake and exhaust variable valve timing for the 1.2-litre engine further promotes power and fuel efficiency and reduces emissions. It offers smooth, quick response and brisk acceleration, and lets you forget you are actually driving a mini-MPV.

A 1.0-litre in-line 3-cylinder petrol engine and a 1.2-litre in-line 4-cylinder petrol engine are both tuned with an emphasis on everyday driveability and fuel economy. All versions hold CO2 levels down to 106–131 g/km (combined).

Engine Auto Stop Start System (Optional for GLS 5MT models)The economical and environmentally-friendly Engine Auto Stop Start System automatically shuts the engine down when you stop at a red light. And it starts up again when you step on the clutch. The benefits are a smoother performance with reduced fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions.

NOTE: The Engine Auto Stop Start System may not function in certain conditions such as when the temperature of the vehicle battery is low.
