PROJECT DETAILS

1. Engineering Change Management & Design Implementation

Department: Engineering Change Management

Client: B/E Aerospace, UK

My Role: Design Engineer & QC

Tools: CATIA V5, Team Center, JIRA, GD&T

B/E Aerospace Galley design changes based on Problem Report (PR) and implementing those changes in design models using CATIA V5. Design changes will be captured in the ECN documentation and will put the updated items into the ECN workflow to checkers in Team Center

Responsibilities:

Receive Problem Report from B/E Aerospace Change Board via JIRA tool

Analyzing the problem report and check whether it is feasible or not

Update the changes in design models based on the problem report

Design models should satisfy the B/E Aerospace and GD&T standards

Creating part or assemble models based on the change request

Maintain the Bill of Material as per MBOM or EBOM processes

Capture the design changes in ECN Document and update the same in Team center(TC)

Populating the Solution and Impacting items in TC

Updating the attribute values(Material, Change Description, Manufacturing Type, Process Spec etc..,) for items in TC

Initiating the ECN workflow for solution item to Checkers

Implementing the rejection changes that are come from Checkers/Production Team

Follow-up the ECN workflow to ensure the parts are getting released

Implementing the process improvements using Six Sigma tools

2. Enovia V6 Application Support Engineer

Department: PDM Application Support

Client: Nokia Mobile/Microsoft Mobiles, Finland

My Role: Support Engineer

As an application support engineer need to assist the end user of Enovia V6 application related issue, ECN process related issues and BOM related issues etc..,

Responsibilities:

Receive Enovia application related issues and changes via ticketing tool Service NOW from application end users

Based on the ticket need to assist the end user to implement the changes or resolve the issue

Engineering Change Note related issues

Product workflow process related issues

Bill of Material related issues

Mass data updating in the application using MQL/TCL

Supporting the development team during the deployment

Monitoring the application performance using HP ALM

Coordinating with the infrastructure team during application maintenance

Performing weekly and monthly application maintenance

Creating reusable TCL script for repeated updates
