STEP 2: IDEA GENERATION AND SELECTION –15 MINUTES
Work on assigned problem
Work individually to write down or draw ideas on a sheet of paper – 5 minutes
Create 20+ ideas (that is 4+ per team member)
Write each idea down on a sheet of paper
Come together as a group to
Discuss the key design elements that the group likes
Go back to the problem and key issues/drivers as needed
Narrow down the ideas and select one idea – 10 minutes
STEP 3: CONCEPT DETAILING AND FINAL PRESENTATIONS – 15 MINUTES
Draw out the concept on large sheet of paper while combining aspects of
other ideas – 5 minutes
Each team presents for 2 minutes
Present your concept
State how it addresses problem and key issues
