MS-FSCC Joint Master Program
The Master of Science in Food Security and Climate
Change (MS FSCC) is a joint degree offered by five
members of the University Consortium for Graduate
Education in Agriculture and Natural Resrouces (UC),
namely Kasetsart University (KU) in Thailand, University of
the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB) in the Philippines,
Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in Malaysia, Institut
Pertanian Bogor (IPB) and Universitas Gadjah Mada
(UGM), both in Indonesia.
IPB University will offered this study program
internationally in the odd semester of the 2020/2021
Academic Year August 2020 in , but due to some obstacles
this program will be offered in the A/Y 2021/2022

• The program is expected to produce leaders and create a network to support development in Asia. To this end, through collaborative education with the PARE consortium, quality assurance for multidisciplinary education, creation of an educational collaboration model that coordinates between educational fieldwork and lab work, and establishment of a PARE alumni network that assembles experts in dissimilar fields and research will be achieved.
• This program will establish a collaborative educational system involving HU’s six partner institutions in Indonesia and Thailand for the purpose of developing personnel to become global leaders that will be active in resolving challenges related to populations, activities, resources and environments (PARE) in ASEAN countries, including Bogor Agricultural University (IPB University)
• PARE Spring School 2020 was held on 17 February – 1 March 2020 in Chulalangkorn University, Thailand, participated by IPB University students and other students from Japan and Thailand

IPB - Ryudai- IAP Introduction to Tropical Agriculture Seminar
This seminar is a winter event of International Agricultural Program (IAP) by Faculty of Agriculture, University of the Ryukyus in collaboration with Ibaraki University, and the partner universities in the Southeast and South Asia, Bogor Agricultural University (Indonesia), Khon Kaen University (Thailand), and Ruhuna University (Sri Lanka), Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University (Bangladesh).
Topics: •Food production including crops and livestock, •Environmental management, •High technologies used in the agricultural fields, •Rural landscape and rural development.
This online seminar invited 15 lecturers from 7 countries, and about 100 students from four countries will participate in the lectures

SUIJI (Six University Initiative Japan – Indonesia) merupakan konsorsium
6 perguruan tinggi, masing-masing tiga dari Indonesia; IPB, UGM, dan
UNHAS serta tiga dari Jepang; Ehime University, Kochi University dan
Kagawa University.
SUIJI menjalin kerjasama pendidikan dan penelitian pada 6 sektor
penelitian yaitu; (1) Forestry, (2) Environment control, (3) Functional
Foods, (4) Fisheries and marine sciences, (5) Hydrology and
micrometeorology, dan (6) Soil sciences and nano technology.
Salah satu program SUIJI adalah SUIJI Joint Program for Master and PhD
Students. Pada Tahun 2020 empat orang mahasiswa program magister
IPB telah menyelesaikan SUIJI Joint Program di Kagawa University,
Ehime University dan Kochi University.

The Faculty Forum is an annual event that aims to provide an opportunity for faculty members from UC members to develop camaraderie, encourage transdisciplinary studies, and promote greater integration of research through strategic partnerships for collaboration. This activity is also a way to further strengthen the relationship between and among the UC members which would hopefully lead to collaborative research proposals

TWINCLE PROGRAM
This program is a collaboration between IPB University and the Graduate School of Education Chiba University and other graduate schools of natural science in ASEAN. By coupling the Graduate School of Education, which engages in practical education and research, with other graduate schools, which engage in cutting-edge scientific research, this program is aim to develop human resources that will serve as a bridge between ASEAN and Japan in the future.
The TWINCLE Program for 2020 was held 7-19 Februari 2020 in Chiba University, and partiicapted by 2 IPB students

Seminar on Coronavirus Infection in Animals and Zoonotic Aspects
This seminar raised a topic that was viral at the time, namely the corona virus. The seminar entitled "Coronavirus Infection in Animals and Zoonotic Aspects" with speakers who are Primatology Lecturers, Dr. dr. Diah Iskandriati. The seminar was held on February 26th 2020 at Primate Research Center (PRC) IPB University
The outputs of this seminar are: (1) participants can understand about the corona virus that is currently endemic, (2) participants can understand the zoonotic aspects of coronavirus in animals, and (3) participants can share their knowledge with the community.

Primatology Webinar Series 1
This webinar aims to promote the Primatology Study Program with the aim of attracting students who are interested in pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in the Primatology Study Program. The Speakers came from graduates of the Primatology Study Program and are lecturers in the Primatology Study Program. This webinar raises three topics which are the three pillars of the Primatology Study Program, conservation, biology and biomedical topics.
This webinar was held on June 19th 2020, online via Zoom Meeting, attended by 678 participants from various regions throughout Indonesia.

Primatology Webinar Series 2
The webinar was conducted online with Zoom Meeting on July 15th 2020, with the theme “Prospects and Challenges of Primate Conservation in the Present and Future”. The speakers in this webinar are Professors at IPB University, Gadjah Mada University, and the University of Washington.
This webinar is moderated by drh. Huda S. Darusman, MSi, Ph.D, Head of Primate Research Center (PRC) IPB University and also a lecturer in the Primatology Study Program. Primatology Study Program has a scientific forum/seminars for students, lecturers, practitioners, and related institutions. The forum is called the Journal Club. This activity is very important to train students in presentations and increase knowledge which is very useful for their research and writing a thesis/dissertation.

The 1st Summer Course “Glossary of Scientific Studies to Support Primates Ecology and Conservation”
Aims To introduce primate science more broadly so that participants can understand primates in general, understand taxonomy, observation techniques and methods for conducting population and behavior surveys of primates, taking biological samples, understanding conflicts that occur between humans and primates. and the possibility of zoonotic disease transmission, as well as the ethics that must be understood when conducting research using primates both in the laboratory and in nature.
This course is an activity of Primate Research Center (PRC) IPB University which was attended by several Primatology students, with several lecturers from Primatology Study Program and included Primatology students as the committee team. This course with the theme "Glossary of Scientific Studies to Support Primates Ecology and Conservation", was held online from 5-9th October 2020.

Virtual Training of Laboratory Biorisk Management System in Handling and Testing of Covid-19 Samples
The training was organized by Primate Research Center (PRC) IPB University which involved Primatology Study Program teaching staff and several Primatology Study Program students. Held on September 14-18th, 2020 online. The output of this training is to provide education and understanding about laboratory biorisk management in handling and testing COVID-19 samples, especially for medical personnel.

Workshop on Preparation of the 2020 Curriculum for Primatology Study Program
This workshop was held as a continuation of the Primatology Study Program workshop in 2019. It was held on March 19th 2020 at Primate Research Center (PRC) IPB University, attended by the Chair and Secretary of the Primatology Study Program as well as several senior lecturers.
The output of this workshop is the creation of the 2020 curriculum structure for the Masters and Doctoral Programs.
ACICIS 2020
ACICIS Australian Cosortium for In-Country Indonesia Studies - diikuti oleh lebih dari 20 Mahasiswa dari berbagai Universitas di Australia. Expert dari PSL memberi gambaran tentang Agroekosistem di Indonesia yang berbasis kearifan lokal dan pengetahuan tradisional (agroforestry, agrosilvopastural dan agrosilvofishery). Peserta juga diajak field excursion ke beberapa KWT di kota Bogor dalam praktek integrated urban agriculture.
Output Mahasiswa peserta training ACICIS paham pentingnya Agroekosistem di Indonesia.
