Why VFDs are required for Distillery
Energy efficiency Improved process control Reduce maintenance Where does energy efficiency come from? Our process requirements are dynamic and
not fixed depending upon change in production quantity and quality. The only possible control methods for fixed
speed solutions are Throttling, Bypass control, On/Off control or the upgrade with a VFD solution to match
the requirements and achieve energy efficiency.

What is 3c3 coating?
15 | Corporate presentation, January 2015
Benefits of Conformal coating
Withstand harsh environments e.g. aggressive gasses
Protects against environmental pollution, moisture and bagasse dust
No premature failure of Drives due to the harsh environment.
Saves money- less down time
Should fulfil IEC721-3-3 Class 3C3 compared to 3C2 uncoated.

Intelligent Heat Management…Back Channel Cooling
Ducted back-channel passes cooling air over heat sink only.
85% of the heat generated is removed by the heat sink fan through back channel.
Appreciable reduction in operational & ownership costs
Approximately 20-35% heat loss difference is observed with Drives with advanced technology and standard drives.

Back Channel cooling with heat pipe technology Unique heat pipes on heat sink
further improve heat management. 90% of heat losses are
exhausted directly outside of the enclosure Dramatically reduces
temperature rise Reduces contamination of the
electronic components. High Power Density: Highest
possible power output for the physical dimensions of the drive by maximum use of silicon capacity, using cutting-edge technology in thermal management
