Bookclub Bookclub catalogues were handed out last Friday. Orders can be done by handing in the order form with correct money to the office by Friday 30th August, or

orders can be done online. This is done through the LOOP app (search LOOP on the appstore) follow the prompts to order through your child’s class at Sussex Inlet Primary School and orders can be paid for by credit card. LOOP orders will close on Friday 30th August. Premiers’ Multicultural Public Speaking Competition Bella Lord will be representing Sussex Inlet Public School at the regional finals at Jamberoo Tuesday 27th August. We wish her well! Dragon Tag Gala Day Friday 24th August, 2019 On Friday 23rd August the year 3 & 4 students participated in a Dragon Tag Gala Day at Thomson St Oval. Everyone had lots of fun on the day. All the teams played four games against other schools in the district. Rory Kennedy 3/4C

P & C News We would like to give a huge thank you to all the volunteers that helped out at last Friday’s gala day, your help is very much appreciated. We also need some more help this Friday at Thomson St canteen. We require homemade goods that can be dropped off at the school office by 9am on Friday 30th August. If you would like to volunteer to help at the canteen even if you can only spare an hour your help would very much be appreciated. Please contact the office to let them know you can help, thank you. Father’s Day Stall This Thursday we will be holding the Father’s Day Stall with gifts ranging in price from $2 to $6. The uniform shop will be open on Tuesday afternoons from 3.00pm – 3.30pm. Community News Sussex Inlet Nippers Sign Up Day Nipper’s season 2019-2020 starts very soon. We are holding a sign up day and proficiencies on Sunday 22nd September 10.30am-12pm at Sussex Inlet Aquatic Centre. This will be our only sign up day we will be holding.
