• These surveys are a way of seeing what my target audience enjoy and what they are into to help me create my magazine.

It will give me a general picture of 16-24 year olds.

I sent it to 38 people all ages 16-24 and the results are as follows

2. This question gives me an insight into whether my target audience actually reads music magazines. As you can see the majority of people dont but there is still a few that do. This also lets me know if people want to know about what's outside the music and inside the band. 3. This question lets me get personal with the persons life and sees if they enjoy a smoke once in a while like most musicians, as you can see they do. 4. This questions lets me know how much they are into music, 7 hours a week is quite a lot and as shown the vast majority of people do. 5. This question lets me know who actually pays for the music they have and according to this not a lot of them do, just under of people get their music illegally and dont pay. 6. I believed that I could link this question with the overall results by seeing if there was a trend in certain channels that 16-24 years olds watch with other questions. Channel 4 wins it by a mile, this channel normally being associated with this age group. 7. This question shows whether they just listen to music or whether they get involved or not, as you can see it is quite even with one person skipping the question for what ever reason. 8. This question lets me know how much different music they listen to as in, there was a lot of 0-500 and with the majority of people listening to music over 7 hours a week it shows the persons not to have much variety, but as you can see the most is 2000+ with nearly all the people answering owning an mp3 of some kind. 9. This questions lets me know if any of them go to festivals and if so which one. Reading is the highest this tells me that people are into rocky music as its quite a rocky festival. V is also quite high and its a pop music festival so its quite a clash with reading.
