Canovate Surveillance Cabinets

Canovate Surveillance Cabinets protect your valuable and sensitive equipment with its purpose built pole type design. It is resistant to rain, snow, wind, sun radiation and earthquake. With its durable structure against to corrosion, it provides effective protection under harsh environmental influences, which is a requirement for your technological investments. Canovate is also able to offer surveillance cabinets that comply with the requirements of the MIL-STD-810G military standards.

Top Cover Structure

It protects the cabinet structure from environmental conditions such as rain, snow, hail, sunlight, etc. Hinged top cover module provides the minimum risk in operations such as maintenance-repair, replacement, cleaning and installation in the internal system while it is working. There is a stopper mechanism hidden inside the top cover. By this way, the top cover can keep open during installation or maintenance process on the field. There is polyurethane gasket between the cabinet structure and top cover system to provide the required sealing mechanism. With the elaborated engineering calculations on cooling air entry and exhaust lines, the pressure drops are diminished and IP66 requirements are fulfilled.

Isolation on Cabinet

Due to environmental and regional conditions, using a flame retardant insulated structure with double-layer and 0.032 W/ thermal conductivity will provide a solution for the extreme temperature gradient at the cabinet.

Cabinet structure

Surveillance Cabinets are designed as double-layer structure (they can be produced as single-layer if it is needed) and are manufactured as mono-block / welded from galvanized steel sheet conforming to EN10346 standards. The protection degree of the cabinet provides protection against any contact, external substances and water. According to the TS 3033 EN 60529 standards, at IP 66 protection level the entry of dust and water is prevented. Fan and filter combination provides up to IP66 protection level due to new engineering practices. All removable and movable mechanical components are connected to the cabinet structure with polyurethane gasket, which is free from defects such as accumulation, cross-section reduction and height difference to ensure IP66 . The cabinet provides highest corrosion resistance through high zinc content 1st coat epoxy coat or cataphoresis process and then RAL 7035 light gray (white) polyester electrostatic powder paint applied on mono-block welded structure (ASTM B117 standard). The paint of the cabinet conformable with flame retardant standards based on BS 476 Part 7. Canovate Surveillance cabinets operate safely under TS EN 61439-1 & 2 / 10.12 EMC / EMI transmission and emission boundary conditions within the scope of CE certification as an advantage of its monoblock structure. In addition to that it meets the environmental testing requirements of EN 60068-2-1 / TS EN 60068-2-2 / TS EN 60068-2-2 and it conforms TS EN 60950-1 for dielectric and insulation resistance requirements.

Mechanical, Electrical and Communication InterfacesAfter internal assembly process is completed, the cabinet can be hanged over the pole with the special designed pole assembly kits. Canovate Surveillance cabinet outdoor enclosures are mounted to the pole with a mounting bracket through the channel, that’s why the visibility of the connection cable from outside is prevented.

Assembly of Camera4 fixed cameras and 2 moving cameras can be installed to Canovate Surveillance Cabinets. Camera connection points are supplied with leak-proof special rubbers. In addition to that, there are protection panels against any external damage to protect camera and image.

Mounting RailsThere are 4 pieces DIN rails in sufficient sizes that are available for industrial devices and electrical equipments.

Modem-Device-Switch, Patch Panel ShelfThere is also a separate shelf structure at the upper partition of the cabinet for encode, switch, fiber optic patch panel or cable holder. On the rear of the cabinet, there are cable holder places where fiber optic cables can be mounted.

LightingBy the automatic led lighting module that automatically illuminates when the door is opened and it gives opportunity to interfere with the cabinet in dark environments.

Front Door Structure and Lock SystemThere is hidden hinge, recessed on flange double-layer structure at the front door of the cabinet. With standard espagnolette type 3 Points locking system, handle and gasket, it ensures maximum safety and sealing when the front door is closed. The peripheral PUR gasket is available on the door. The front door, with PUR which can resist to cold/warm environmental conditions, has a long life span and perform excellent sealing. The stopper at the cabinet door provides an easier service and maintenance process.

Door SwitchDoor switches can be integrated to the cabinet to receive a warning when front door is opened and to activate or deactivate any other system. Switches can be provided as an accessory.

PDUPlastic, 6 way PDU with on/off switch can be provided as an accessory.

Canovate Surveillance cabinets have an excellent grounding system infrastructure with maximum 2,5 miliohm bonding resistance between the cabinet body and equipment.

Our cabinets include equipments that can transmit data, like status of the door and high temperature inside the cabinet, via the Ethernet interface and also be enable remote control of the power of the Video Management System (VMS) equipments.All electrical and communication cables enter into the cabinet with special glands that are compatible with IP66.

Air Conditioning inside the Cabinet

The fresh air in the outdoor environment is aspirated into the cabinet through filter grids with engineering infrastructure capable of meeting the IP66 requirements on the cabinet structure.

The circulation fans ensure the air circulation in the cabinet, even in the case of high pressure drops related to equipment used in the unit body and intensive wiring. In addition to that, it establishes a high-reliability cooling process, lowers the temperature and prevents heat condensation which can damage the active devices. Also considering the heat loads that will arise from the active equipment in the cabinet, the required heating requirement is calculated according to the climatic conditions where the cabinet will be located. This designed heating system is assembled into the physical and thermodynamically optimal place in cabinet body.
